Very cool books and really cool that you got some back when you were 12 years old.

Nice! Love all of those covers! Nothing cooler than walking, rotting corpses! Haunt of Fear #17 is one of my favorites, but Tales of the Crypt #40's Jack Davis diver with the corpse in the clamshell is tops with me! Can't go wrong with Ingles or Davis when it comes to the corpse covers!

Crypt 40 is one that my brother picked up fairly early on and I know it's one of his very favorites so much so that I gave him a framed print of it years back... I can't think now why it didn't make my list? 😄

Great video and awesome choices, Thommy! It's interesting that we both acquired our first original ECs in 1981. Mine was Weird Science #21 and I was 18 years old. It was like holding the Hope Diamond in my hands, I couldn't stop looking at it. Ah, memories. Thanks for another super EC video!

No, that's my nickname for it. As I explain at one point in the video the actual title is "Horror Comics of the 1950s" aka "The EC Horror Library" from Nostalgia Press, 1971. Edited by Ron Barlow and Bhob Stewart.
