Hi Mike, I must say 10 videos is not enough. You make things very Simple to understand from a laymens terms. Hope to see more videos in the future. I liked your video on breaking down sheet goods although in my case I'm not sure if I can justify paying all that $$$ on a track saw. I understand you want a clean edge is there another way? I want to make some plain white vinyl window grille inserts look like wood to match the wood look vinyl replacement windows I had installed (small job). This looks like a simply way to achieve what I want. In the video you said this is a two step process, that you must include a top coat. My question is, can the top coat be applied any other way except using a sprayer (I don't have a sprayer) and it's such I small job I don't want to have have to buy one. The grilles are on the inside of the windows, they won't be exposed to the elements.

You can brush it on , but you may need to wait longer for the stain layer to set so you don't streak the Grain pattern

I would love to hire someone to do this for me. You make it look so easy. Can you recommend anyone near Orange County, CA that could help?

Reqular stain won't work - this was a special formula for PVC Aqua Sur Tech

How would this look on pvc boards that already have a woodgrain texture?

A different procedure since you dont need to introduce a grain pattern, just get a color variation to mimic wood -

Very nice! Would this paint work on an automotive application? In this case, the plastic wood grain look trim of a jeep grand wagoneer?

It might , I have tried it on other substrates and it holds up well, CLeaning the surface is critical - depending on they type of plastic it could do well , Obviously it was not developed for that application. you may end up needing a clear coat to make it last longer & I'm not sure how well the clear coat will stick ..

Well done, I am in plastic extrusion and learning ways we can incorporate these types of finishes on the production line, any experience there? Would love to see a video on that if you have one.

What would you recommend if the PVC is already on the column? Specifically for the spraying portion of this process. Could it be brushed on instead?

you might be able to roll on the clear afyer the stain coat has cured - i would try it on a test piece first
