@@yasulong genuinely don’t know if there is in fact some known mistake w the English translations or whatever so feel free to correct me if it’s for sure been proven I’m wrong but yea like Ler said Childe 100% says they’re ranked by strength in his voiceline about them and also iirc I believe Nahida said the same thing near the end of the sumeru archon quest (I for sure remember her mentioning that the top 3 harbingers all have powers equal to that of gods).

The pairings for each fight are chosen beautifully. Dottore and Scaramouche are the puppet and the puppeteer. Pierro is the first harbinger, the "Father" and Tartaglia is the last and youngest, the "Child(e)". Arlecchino despises Pantalone for staying in Snezhnaya and playing strategic and political games, while she works on the field - they represent opposite ways of achieving their goals. Finally Sandrone and Capitano are both said to be very strong and in my opinion show feminine and masculine opposites while being matched in ability. oh and Columbina is just sick af

Also, should be noted that there is another way of showing the conflict. Arlecchino seeks value in people, hence the whole "children" thing, while Pantalone only finds money to be of any value. Dottore and Scaramouche are both clones, and despise their originals. Sandrone and Capitano is "strength of creations" (you're as strong as your creations are) vs "personal strength".

When i see the Childe vs Pierro i instantly thought that this is the kind of scenario where one of the best side characters decides to try and solo the final boss. Then he actually gets a lethal blow only for him to be uno reversed and killed off. It's the kind of fight where you know he'll lose but he puts up a very good fight and nearly wins

I love the detail how, near the end, there’s a montage of Childe's character development. If you see 1:32, Pierro bestows the Fatui badge to Childe when he was young, as Childe flashes an innocent smile like a child who's finally been credited by his "father" for something he's worked so hard to achieve, and as if he will promise eternal loyalty to. Though then the right in the next scene Childe contrastingly throws it away (or, if I miss saw it, it accidentally falls off his coat as he rapidly turns his head) and faces an enemy, who was once the very person that has honored him - as if Childe is no longer wanting to be a Fatui; as if he has betrayed his own "father". It's a really nice metaphor and a foretelling of Childe's character development of the young him becoming independent from the Fatui or "growing up" after he, perhaps, realizes a truth about the Fatui that is so significant enough to make him betray them and side with the traveler.

@@farifairis7388 He's a bit of a meathead sure, but even he knows his organization is (somehow) even more disorganized and chaotic than Russia's real world military. There's a reason he is so friendly with the traveler, we're a simple, straightforward person with a heart of gold. Though we may also be a godly prince of a teyvat so old not even the dragons know of us, but that's for later down the line.

By watching the Tartaglia demo, we know how Childe is so loyal and he give his all trust to Tsaritsa. He said, "The future the Tsaritsa desires... The future the people of Snezhnaya desire... it will be had." Which make us believe that Tsaritsa goal is a good thing for Snezhnaya, or even for the Teyvat world. So, the only possible thing is that either Fatui betray Tsaritsa or Tsaritsa herself betray Childe, not to other way.

He's not oblivious to what's going on around him, but he's loyal to the Tsartisa, as they said. He almost flooded Liyue for goodness sake. Also, the whole point of the Harbingers is they have their own goals and methods but still a relative common cause.

GOD I love how unique and dynamic the Harbingers’ fighting styles are here. Arlecchino with a sword-whip! Sandrone with a missile launcher-rocket drill-hammer and mecha spider legs! Scara summoning his Shouki no Kami body! Dottore making himself all gribbly and Bloodborne-y with too many eyeballs! PANTALONE WITH GUN. the non-combat Harbingers get cool stuff too, like Pulcinella getting the reaction he does (the best villains are ones who make you think they’re the good guy) and Columbina’s whole “be not afraid” thing and the subtle details! the juxtaposition of Pantalone, who came from poverty, stomping on the hands of the homeless camped out on the steps of his massive mora vault! Signora’s design merging her boss form, her funerary mask, and the Crimson Witch of Flames hat! Tartaglia getting his Fatui badge pinned on his coat by Pierro like in his Delusion story! Foul Legacy Tartaglia’s mask unfolding mechanically! Gnoses! all of this is to say this is an immensely well-done animation and one you deserve all the kudos for

Both Childe and Scara don't like the idea of fighting her simply because of how dangerous or frightening she is so if they of all people want to avoid her, you can imagine she's quite the monster

I don't think I've seen anyone mention how much fun and how much vision these storyboard artists truly have. Looking at single frames reveals such creative ideas about Arlecchino: her weapon is a cane with a barbed tip that is capable of being wielded from either end, but also separates to reveal bladed chain-whip sections; and Arlecchino herself can transform herself into a mass of blood and mist and travel along the length of the chain-whip while its segments are spread, catching the weapon at either end to great effect. Absolutely genius, implementing a clever weapon design that melds with clever character design and animation that does the concept justice. Shine on.

When I first saw this, I really thought there's gonna be a possibility that this would become canon some way or another. After what happened to Signora and Scaramouche, the Fatui may be a powerful organization but they don't get along so well that conflict within them is inevitable. Childe throwing the Fatui badge was so cool to add on since it is also something he might do once we reach the end of the Snezhnaya arc because his family is more important and he wouldn't probably hesitate to choose them over the Tsaritsa since if she's going to war against Celestia, his family will get caught up in the war so he has to protect them. Throwing "Tartaglia" and "Childe" to become Ajax again and protect his family.

If it turns out that Columbina is canonically a seelie survivor and her true form is indeed like a Biblically-accruate seraphim, _(a high-ranking angel)_ then I wouldn't wonder why whoever cursed the seelies to lose their form willingly did it to them. Look at how Columbina looks both ethereal, intimidating, and even more so terrifying. Seelies were obviously a threat to the plans of whoever cursed them, that's for sure.

Second, I want to make it clear that my comment does not claim whatsoever that Columbina is indeed a seelie. The comment's foundation only takes roots on theories of Columbina being a seelie backed with bits of information available to the community. Besides, being a seelie doesn't necessarily mean one should have horns similar to that of the Goddess of Flowers who was confirmed as a seelie, since seelies come from all varieties, from the usual blue ones, to the obtainable seelie companions with different colors to choose from, electro seelies, and light-colored seelies from the Chasm. This is an indication that seelies might've been as diverse as the youkai or the adepti in their forms. In this sense, your counterargument that Columbina is not a seelie because she lacks horns seen in the God of Flowers is an error on your part.

La Signora was once a normal human girl, till her lover died and in rage she did some shit to herself to get to her Crimson Witch status. Childe too is a human who simply fell into the abyss, met an Abyssal swordswoman and learnt shit from her. Sure he has his devouring deep foul legacy form, but that's obviously a temporary power he can't sustain for too long yet. That's not his original form.

the Childe vs Pierro makes me think of a Loyalist vs Traitor scenario. but as for Scara and dottore it's more of a revenge thing. while the Whole Pantalone and Arlecchino fight is more like a power struggle.

1:17 will always be my favourite part of this masterpiece of an animation since I’m always finding myself so fascinated by biblically accurate angels!! The contrast between angelic (be very afraid) columbina and demonic (see: horns, fire) signora and pulcinella gathering the enthusiastic response this is so damn good

This actually tells a lot about the characters. Especially the ones who do not fight. We already know a lot about Signora, but aside from her; Pulcinella seems like he is the public figure. He could be manupulative and tactical, gaining the trust of Shneznayan people. And Columbina could be the one who seems most innocent, but is actually really powerful. But maybe she may also refuse to fight. Who knows?

So many things I would say about their fighting styles... -Sandrone's dapper Ruin Guard having a missile launcher hammer hybrid like its something out of RWBY -Dottore going full bloodborne -Scaramouche is a stand user with Shouki No Kami as his stand -Pantalone effectively being Genshin's answer to DC's Penguin And so much more I would say but just don't have the words for. What I'm saying is, all of them have badass and unique fighting styles.

The way columbina was drawn is honestly how I hope she is in the game. That biblical fallen angel appearance is extremely haunting and this project is one of the best I have ever seen for the harbingers.

I think I noticed a pattern. Every Fatui Harbinger we met so far in game (maybe except Childe) debuted in a region they're somehow related to: La Signora --> Monstadt, where she originated from Scaramouche --> Inazuma, where he was created by the Electro Archon Dottore --> Sumeru, where he studied at the Akademiya before being kicked out So, we just need to analize other Harbinger's outfits and we can guess in which region will they appear. We already know, that Capitano is in Natlan and I think that in Fontaine we will meet Pantalone or Marionetta, because their designs seem the most french and steampunk to me

So I'm pretty sure they're collecting them for the tsaritsa and it somehow has something to do with the unknown God and or Celestia BUT the fatuus are greedy and the idea of one of em going rogue is 100/10

What I love about this is that it takes classic scenes but remakes it with context. The Childe vs pierro fight is similar to a hero vs demon king fight but with context the second phase with genosis is so much more terrifying and does away with the heroic vibes unsuited to Childe and makes this s surpassing the mentor moment. As for the other fights. The captain vs the puppeteer is tradition vs innovation: the honed singular method vs the variable complex inventions. The aracchino vs patanlone fight is similar to mani vs hormua fight in madoka magica but all the more stylish because this isn’t about ideals but to cold blooded killers dukeing it out. The doctor vs scara is evolution vs argumentation. One transforms their own body while the other replaces it. It’s similar to pacific rim or like Avatar where they either get in a mech or genetically engineer a stronger body. Colombia is a biblically accurate angel but done in a way it is truest horrifying. The initial innocence is still carried through the white palate of the angel but the eyes which contain most of the horror are black. Interestingly: maybe this is why Colombia doesn’t open her eyes. Roselyn was the heroine of a tragedy and like most, leave off on a somber note. And the mayor scene I can only compare to watching hitler deliver a speech Because we know politicians never plan anything good and especially so for extremely fanatical world enemies

i have a feeling if there was a Fatui Rebellion. Childe, Scaramouche and Capitano would be the ones to be a part. Scaramouche ane Childe we know why even though Childe wants to take over the world and the world no longer remembers Scaramouche(except the player and Nahida). and as for Capitano like the guy above said. he looks like an honorable warrior. fighting for what he believes is right. Arlechinno seems like the one that would not be part of it. since the others talk about her betraying others. edit: i forgot Arlecchino actually took Children and use them as Soldiers. plus i think a fatui rebellion would be more like Tsaritsa's Loyalist.

Fun Fact! Arlecchino's Sword is based on a Weapon in the game Bloodborne called "Threaded Cane" Which has the exact same Blade shape, Handle Shape, and Design. Neat reference to one of the best FromSoftware Games

@@AlphaAceEX The thing is: Despite there being numerous designs, it seems to be Mostly based of the Threaded Cane (Prominently in the Handle which is that of a cane), Another thing is that someone mentioned Ivy Valentine, but the Handle nor the blade shape and amount matches. The Sword-Whip Design comes up a LOT, but the Handle is too Cane-like imo for it to not be the Threaded Cane. To be Precise, in the 0:20 - 0:22 mark you can see the resemblance. Even harder is the fact that most Sword-Whip Designs look like they bend, but the Threaded Cane Doesn't (when not in use) the only thing standing in the way is the Sword Shape. It could be the Threaded Cane, it could be not. Another Detail is the Trapezoid Shape of the Blades. Matching MOST with the Threaded Cane. Maybe they just thought "Oooh sword whips are cool" and accidentally referenced the Threaded Cane I just saw what the solid sword shape looked like and MMMM, Looks a bit blunt, no Extra Details, just a blade It's too similar but idk

I'm always so interested everytime there's a Fatui animation! The whole Childe vs Pierro scene is so amazing and the thought of betrayal between two of them is interesting as well. Pierro betraying the Tsaritsa and he used 7 Gnosis to bring back Khaenriah and Childe betraying the Fatui because his own ambition to conquer the world and also disliking Fatui. The first Fatui Fighting the last Fatui Harbinger is really creative ngl, anyways what a great animation and Columbina scene is really scary

Absolutely breathtaking, this is the kind of stuff I daydream about. The way that every scene interlocks with an already previously established song is so well made, from the rapid dashing and clashing of swords and spears to the breathtaking reveal of Columbina (Left me flabbergasted) and even that little bit towards the end with signora, not only the animation in this is amazing but the theatrical timing with the music is so incredibly pleasing to both see and hear.

So in this video we have Pierro vs Childe (0th vs 11th) Capitano vs Sandrone (1st vs 7th) Dottore vs Scaramouche (2nd vs 6th) Arlecchino vs Pantalone (4th vs 9th) And Columbina, Pulcinella and Signora not fighting. The 2 most "unfair" fights seems to be: Arlecchino vs Pantalone (A warrior vs a politician) Capitano vs Sandrone (The strongest human, on par with Archons as said by Nahida in Sumeru vs a pupeteer, but none of her creations except her main golem seems to withstands even 1 of Capitano's hits) And now you may be thinking "What about Dottore vs Scara and most importantly, Pierro vs Childe". First of all, Dottore vs Scara is the "closest" fight rank-wise, not only that but it is Scara augmented with parts of the mechanical god from Sumeru, so althought Dottore still has the upper hand, is not so far off, maybe a 70/30, where as Capitano vs Sandrone and Arlecchino vs Pantalone are easily a 95/5. And then we have Pierro vs Tartaglia, this fight should be a stomp, let's be real, as we are clashing the strongest being in the Fatui with the weakest harbringer.. BUT, we have clearly seem Tartaglia growth rate and potential, he wen't from not being able to withstand his Foul Legacy for more than 10 minutes in Liyue to being able to fight the All-Devoruing Narwhal for days in that form. Does that put him on par with the likes of Pierro? Obviously not, but it does put him way above what he should be, how much? We simply don't know and we also don't know when this animation take place, if it is years after the Fontaine AQ tartaglia could easily be around Arlecchino strenth-wise, if it is just after Fontaine AQ then i'd rank him with the likes of Scara without the mechanical god's augments or Sandrone). And that's my take from this video, cool animation will come back here to watch it again with the release of Snezhnaya.

Columbina and Pierro are my absolute favorites on this one. I like how they portrayed Columbina as a Devil in an Angel's body. That eerie and mysterious feeling gives her that dangerous aura (thats probably why Scaramouche and Tartaglia don't want to mess with her) Pierro is just awesome. Abyss characters are always the best.

Pierre is not the character of the Abyss. He is from Kaenri'ah and there is a difference between the Abyss, which destroys all of Teyvat along with Celestia, and Fatui, who fight against Celestia, and not the people inhabiting Teyvat. And at the head of Fatui is Pierre.

@@haseebbarya8294 Why are you guys really trusting that leaker so much? There is 11 constellations in Fatui's logo and The Sad Clown constellations is one of them. If Pierro is indeed a mere director but not also a Harbinger, why his constellations are still among the 11? You cannot completely trust the leaker. Also how did you know that 10th is empty? If that's the case should Childe and Scaramouce talked about it in their voice lines? For example: "Regarding the mysterious number 10" or "Regarding the empty 10th seat". Furthermore, In Fatui's trailer Winter Lazzo, no one talking about another member of Fatui even Capitano was questioning Scaramouce's whereabout and condition. Why did not a even single of Fatui Harbingers there talking about the 10th?

@@williamsl655 "A mere director" A leader is not a "mere" director. He is the the strongest of them all and directs all the fatui operations. Thats why he is the director- the leader. I am trusting the leak because the new rankings make a lot of sense. Capitino, who we expect to meet in Natlan being no 1 makes sense. He directs the military operations and he could be the last harbinger we fight before moving to Snezhnya. Dottore and Columbina are the same. Arlecchino being the one providing the Fatui with spies and soldiers ranking 4th does make sense. The 10th seat is a mystery and I am not sure about it myself (only says possibly empty) it could make for an interesting plotline, or I saw one person saying that it has something to do with roman or whatever leaving the 10th seat empty.

Imo, even with the other better animated videos, this one goes the hardest, the concept of the fatui fighting each other is genius and the scene is well made, the sound effects and the fighting is crazy, best animation of Hoyofair and any other animations, Cyno vs Anubis is the second best

As much as I appreciated the animation, I re-watched it so many times just to hear those SFX combinations over and over again. The mixing was raw, gritty and satisfying. Perfect aesthetic for the visuals.*chef's kiss*

The Fatuis are the accurate description of the kind of people who will probably survive an entire archon war. Along with the Traveller of course.

Childe vs pierro part is my favorite and colombina is so perfect I admire her theory of being a fallen angel.

i like to imagine that captitano is just fighting cause he was bored and sandrone was pissing him off
