In three days time, I will have completed 25 years in my current job. In late July, my employer (using the pandemic as an excuse) told me that my role "no longer exists". If they have the cheek to organise a get together for the 25 years (ignoring my request to the contrary), I will be tempted to do a Ted Crilley type speech!

@@mystery5113 No get together for the 25 years, so no opportunity for the speech. They did at least (eventually) reverse the redundancy decision, so I still have a job (for a while at least). So, the Ted Crilley-style embittered speech is on hold for a while!
