@@PhilOfAces1987 Disease? balding isn't a fucking disease rofl, it's just the testastore level or some crap that gets weird when you grow up.. some people have it earlier tho during their 20's .. but usually it starts during the 30-40... then after that you get bald at 50-60... Depends on your genetics.

My father wore a beard for most of his life. When I was young, people didn’t think we looked alike. After I let my beard grow out the first time, they were like, “Ohhhh yeah, now I see it.”

Greg- the beard and mustache are inspiring! Very cool look. I’m very jealous of the hair too. Keep rockin.

I've been growing my hair out for a year now (thanks to Greg for the inspiration) And I find it awesome to see guys growing out their hair! I'm probably in between of the lenght of Victor and Greg right (and fully intend to keep it growing for another year or so!) and I hope these boys keep on growing their hair! Beard on Brothers!

Nice to see an update for both, keep growin! I had a #3 shave in January and haven't visited the barber since (although, will probably go soon just to clean it up a bit). About 6-7" all around, hope to keep it going through the summer. I feel I'm in a bit of an awkward stage now in my hair is long enough to hit my lips but not quite long enough for a ponytail so it's all over the place. My fix is always air-dry, a bit of pomade to keep it flowing back, and wrap behind ears.... or a hat! =)

Ss I recalled when I grew out my hair very long. Through the stages of development, growing out was never really any awkward stage. But compared to my beard, it was awkward, but later, after growing out a 12-month to two years, length, I got the hang of it after the third time. It's not so bad.

I've been growing my hair out from a Mohawk. I'm roughly at the stage Victor was when Andy had cut it last. Maybe a little shorter? It's nice to see a timeline of what to expect at a certain stage. So this is the set of hair I have to look forward too.

Greg, I'm 46 and had a great head of hair, but this year I'm noticing alot of head hair in the shower, a definite change for me. Does it sound like aging hair loss? I've had long hair off and on. I'm on a grow out phase about your length now. Are you noticing more hair loss with length?

Victor's beard is gorgeous his hair is at a decent length and will look even better in another year or so. Greg's beard is coming along; His hair is nice and thick but it needs another year to be manageable and two years to be awesome. BTW, I agree with someone below: Greg needs to learn how to overcome the sourpuss look on his face. It's not appealing.

if I had hair that great I wouldn't cut it either. I used to have very long hair, past my waist, but by my mid 20's id lost enough of it that it was time to go the shaved head route. I miss it a little but I also like the shaved head/beard combo so I'm alright.

As a balding boy of 19 with a bald father, uncle, grandfather, maternal uncles etc, I envy u guys.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Apparently, you're only supposed to wash your hair like a few times a week. But like, we dudes sweat more. And like Victor said, there's no way I'm not going to shampoo my hair after a vigorous workout at the gym, you know?

My barber/hairdresser said, that I got too much hair to grow them out. She stated that my skin underneath the headhair would get dry pretty fast and the skincare for that is almost impossible. I asked her what she was thinking about the idea, because I, myself, thought about this while ago. Looking forward on your journey :D

Have you tried rubbing something like jojoba oil into your scalp? Keeps my face skin healthy under the beard so it might help the scalp too. Don’t quote me on that, but there’s got to be something.

Loren Scheman I tried using some skin care which I use on my face. Changed nothing that I would realise as much.... I will ask a doc if this will not get better throuhout the next months

Alexander do some research on KZread, there are ton of diy dry scalps remedies and very knowledgeable people out there. Don’t let dry scalp stop you from growing out your hair

I used to have a great mane of hair like you guys in my younger days (only 34 so not ancient) was told I looked like jesus quite a lot. I still have my hair but the long haired days are long gone and the front sides are starting to recede and I guess maybe i'm like mid transition or something cause it just makes me look like i'm balding? My beard however is two years in and mid chest length but I just can't seem to find a pro to cut it and make it look good anywhere near me so unless I use my beard straightner I look like a hobo lol! Oh any tricks to growing out the stash? I have it really long on the sides but I always end up trimming it just above the lip cause I seem to start eating it.

love Greg, but just not a fan of the long hair. The grey hair was dope when it was styled up, short sides. however, long hair when grey combined with a long gray beard makes a person look so much older. i've noticed it's the soft, rounded lines of long hair accentuating sharp contrasts like the lines in the face when a person smiles, wrinkles as we age, etc. I deal with many people throughout the day and this isn't something limited to Greg, this is something i've noticed in general (and totally MY personal thoughts- you do you). i started to grow my hair long and noticed these things about myself and about others (like a new car- you never even noticed the car until you bought it, then it seems every other car going down the road is the same care as you bought). In fact, when i had my hair cut and styled again, most of the people I deal with daily commented on how much younger i looked. my hair also looked twice as grey when longer.
