That was not the place to humiliate your daughter neither should a father slap your grown daughter.

Is it forgiveness with word but not from the heart. Sometimes we seek parents and others love ,attention when we lose ourselves in it .

I really enjoy listening to your stories because I see in your scenario that you are not preaching forgiveness and it is very nice to experience it. we must involve justice in many cases in which we find ourselves. We cannot ignore justice because of forgiveness.⚖⚖⚖

All the narcissistic behaviors that we experienced in our childhood, we do not need to shift them to our children. Narcissistic disorders are not a part of the lifestyle.

I would have done the same thing Asher did. Her father is a beast; he was not at all sorry for all the embarrassment and pain, that he caused Asher, her husband, and her family and friends. I am sure that Asher’s mom must have leaned on her horrible, and abusive husband, and father, to write that letter of apology to Asher. Even the so called apology letter was all about him. Is there a part 2 please? The part where Asher takes legal action against him as she should have done? Good story miss Chikah good storytelling as always, but I want vengeance on Asher’s behalf. Respect from USA.
