That yell sounds like Jim Morrison. I just love this guy. Great music, amazing voice, and his not a pretentious asshole like a lot of the other men in the biz. He isn't taking himself serious, but when it comes to music he is always on point. Glad he is just being who is and not living this alter personality when he performs. He just looks like he's having a good time. And it makes it that much more fun to watch. Would love to see Father John Misty live! Maybe one day.

The conversation he had with Cheryl from around 10:00 to around 16:30 made me hopeful for the future of current indie music standouts like Phoebe Bridgers. I can't wait to see where she, and others, go with their music once they quit pandering or adhering to this crazy ideal of the introspective, depressed, self-obsessed songwriter aesthetic that is so expected by all of us modern indie music fans. I doubt that anyone can reach the heights that FJM has and will continue to progress toward... but the wake up call to all those songwriters out there who so comfortably write self-pity-for-profit albums is still inspirational.

Joab Cervantes I believe he was trying to appeal to a community of music listeners who likely share his musical tastes so that he could prove a point, gain some approval and yes, perhaps engage in some self indulgence. Regardless, I would contest the claim that Josh Tillman is a hack in any way, and I would love to hear your reasoning behind it.

I'm very happy I got to see this line up perform live on the Fear Fun tour by far still one of the best live acts iv seen. The drummer you see here was only around for a short time, the fear fun tour featured a more badass drummer who fit the style of the music way better then the drummer you see here. Its actually kind of a bummer that most of this line up doesn't play in FJM anymore they were really special live

I love Josh Tillman's music and this is not a petty attack, just a thing I find interesting. Have you noticed that his profile, the structure of his face, changes drastically as you view it from different angles. Like he becomes 5 different people if you pan 180 degrees, side of face to other side of face. It's something I've never seen before. It took me a while to keep an image of him in my minds eye because I had seen 5 different videos and he looked like five different dudes in each of them. It's really odd. Am I the only one who notices this?
