Batman - *WHERE'S THE TRIGGER!* The Mandalorian - *WHERE'S THE KID!*
The role of parenthood is strong in the Star Wars universe, but the Mandalorian took it a step further by exploring the parts other main character's backstories skipped out. It's a clear depiction of new and unexpected parenthood of a very young child happening in someone's life and being forced to adapt to it. Sure it may skip out on the more unpleasant parts of young children (Baby Yoda is *unusually* passive for a toddler) but parents can still connect with Mando in ways they couldn't with Shmi, Anakin, Leia and Han.
He’s the guy that will fight to protect his baby while holding it on his hip. This is absolutely powerful - wow.

Anything with Mando being a father is clickbait at this point, and I totally do not mind! 😍😍😍😍😍 Also, that transition at 1:21 to the next scene is 👌👌👌.
