Father and son co-pilots celebrate final flight together
Erik Lake and his father Tom Lake have spent hundreds of hours flying together as co-pilots. For Tom’s final flight before his retirement, his son arranged an unforgettable goodbye. NBC News’ Hallie Jackson has the story.

I had the pleasure to fly with Tom last winter for a couple days. Awesome guy that suffers no fools! Old school as they get thats for sure. I found oyt he flew the Tristar, and after two days of questions he said "I did fly other things ya know!" Happy retirement Tom.
