Needless to say, I luckily separated from him before our son was born and he's sadly never tried to be there, support or even meet him. It makes me sick and I still have no idea what to say to my child when he finally asks about him. It kills a piece of me EVERY DAY. @kayboy6055 you must be young, naive or a SA/CA criminal to say this. A quick Google search would answer your silly opinion. He asked to be put in isolation! That speaks volumes bc no one wants to be there. You think it's fun? You go stir crazy being alone 23/7. He asked to be put there bc he KNOWS more than you do what happens to people like him. There are plenty of stories that made headlines about criminals that have harmed kids in any way shape or form being murdered or beating to near death soon after arrival. The guards just look the other way. My uncle was a CO for Rikus Island. He told me plenty of stories about how those men are dealt with. It is living HELL in there for them. The ones that are respected are the gang members that are older and they run the prison. Not some young freshman gang boys that ain't even been in the gang but a year or 2. Alot of these men have children that they love and sold drugs to keep a roof over their kids heads. They would never think about hurting them. They miss their kids and they are their legacy. They hate men that are opposite of that. You're considered a coward if you kill or hurt an innocent defenseless child. They will test you to see what you will do to a man. You are not respected by any gang if you hurt a child. Now there are young gang members that have no respect for kids, but they are also dealt with upon arrival. You need to get your facts straight. A guy just killed 2 child molesters in his cell not too long ago. Do your research.

He had a dismissed DV charge, back in 2010. He attempted to strangle his own father. So, he definitely has anger management issues. I couldn't figure out why he did this, but I think Ana hit it on the nail. He's a narcissist, trying to control his wife, by using the very things that are dearest to her, her children. He cried during his plea arraignment hearing, because he knows that he killed his sons, and he didn't want to... they're his children, too. It was a means of control over her. I know now his mindset. I lived with a narcissist that would go to these extremes, to try to control me. We didn't have children, but he knew that my pets meant everything to me, along with my household furnishings that I had bought with the money that my parents left for me from their estate... it was my only connection I had left to them... the things that meant most to me. He kept threatening to destroy them, knowing that I would submit to prevent that from happening. I think the boys' mother didn't believe he would go to that extreme, and challenged him. He showed her, in his mind, that he was dead serious. That explains his behavior, afterwards.

@@PippiLong1 Exactly. That's how I escaped my abuser. 4-1/2 years of marriage that was literal hell on earth (close to it, but that period isn't here yet) for me. I had finally had enough, and started the process to escape, ready to walk away from everything, go into a women's shelter that I wouldn't be able to take anything with me... cut the very emotional ties that he was using against me. The day they were supposed to come pick me up, they called, but didn't identify themselves, asked for me. He answered the phone, and they disconnected the call. He beat me up for it... enough to leave evidence for the police. I reported it, and with the help of LE, I was able to get a TRO against him, and they made sure he didn't get back in my house. They served him when we were in the county seat, at the courthouse... we lived 10 miles away. Sorry, Eddie, but you can't go home with her. You have to stay here. I left the town, went home, a few hours later, I get a phone call from the local bar where he had gone to, and was able to get a bar tab started. It was the bartender at the bar looking to get the tab paid. Told him, sorry, but he's on his own now, and he's not supposed to have ANYONE calling me on his behalf, per the TRO. Bartender realized then what was going on, and there were others who came to my ex's aid, gave him a place to stay, etc., there in town. From there, it was a divorce proceeding. I am STILL dealing with him, though, and it's been 12 years. He comes into the state, where he's NOT supposed to be, as an agreement with the state to drop the assault charges against him, and breaks into my truck, kills my bird flock, etc., all in an act of revenge. I can't prove it, because he does it at night, but I've been able to see where he's been back in the state, nearby me, and that's when these things happen... when he's here.

It sounds like something that an abusive person would say often, sometimes even to deceive. No telling what those poor boys went through at such a young age. This has been a hard year as a parent of a college student between the University of Idaho murders and hearing about so many other cases where young women disappeared after going to parties or out drinking while they’re students. I have talked with our daughter about being safe and aware of her surroundings. I don’t even know what to say about the man who shot his 3 sons and wife. That is so unimaginable. The little boys were so cute , may they rest in peace . Apparently there had been domestic violence going on in the home for some time . I think she was trying to leave him and he murdered his own sons to hurt the mom unfortunately.

Something that bothers me is when people try to say “community wide trauma.” No, it’s the FAMILY that feels the trauma, not the community. That father was not “cognitively impaired” he is just evil.

Seriously? Yes, the whole community does suffer! How could they not? No one is disputing that the family doesn't suffer the worst, that's a no brainer that they do. Three kids are executed in cold blood in front of the mother by their father. Small town, large family tragedies affect everyone in the community! The 3 kids had friends, the friends have parents, the parents have friends and families who are affected because their relative or friend is traumatized and will be for life. Teachers, coaches, law enforcement, political officials, friends of the children, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. In this incident, trauma of it all isn't just in the immediate family, it's goes far beyond the people directly involved and will affect everyone for the rest of their lives.

A lot of people know those boys in that community. They have been playing baseball/t-ball for several years. The coaches talked to thr local news and you could see how it messed them up. I imagine their teammates and classmates are also traumatized by this too. Trauma doesn't just stay in thr family, it ripples across the community.

I can't believe that he told the cops he was uncomfortable and asked he could roll over, then so casually said "I ain't gonna hurt nobody" !!!. Not just that he wasn't going to hurt one of them, but then to say that in addition, already knowing he executed his 3 boys made me instantly enraged. So much so, I started to cry.

Especially if he had been planning it?.. the dad of this man is probably so heart broken his son could do this ❤ I have no words.. like he even dragged one of them back after they escaped.... This is beyond disgusting .....I beyond hope the mommy and daughter can overcome all of this ..... R.i.p all the sweet babies in these cases today ❤❤❤

the way he still tried to maintain some sort of light, conversation or even tried to be "handled respectfully" as soon as he heard his wife is even more telling of how much he wants her to see him "not worry". Its honestly sick to see someone whose distress if 100% your fault, and then pursue it more. Gross, sad but seriously he's not some lone bad apple.

Yeah I was wondering too. Did she think he wouldn’t do it bc it wasn’t started yet? Was she focussed on the son who was running away? Poor woman, she will probably replay this non stop in her head until she dies. It’s awful
