I love how Monty has been all about letting the party (Drakkenforce in particular) to always try to strive for the compromise, always try to "not pick sides" and "find the exit that might avoid any of the parties from getting upset" and in this session he was like "you can take me out and lose the army or keep my secret and have your troops, there is no third option" cuz I do feel at times they are trying very hard to stay "neutral" and find the "good ending" but yeah, you can't always get what you want.

I dont remember if I have commented this before, but I am absolutely loving the switch from live to prerecorded. The show really took a huge jump in production value. I was worried that it would end up overedited and lose the home game feeling, but this has just been fantastic. Also really admiring the recent video thumbnails on the non-play content, whoever is making those is doing a fantastic job.

Man the politics of Drakkenheim are one of the best aspects of this series. It's easy when you have a normal fight the big bad malevolent force story. It gets fun when all the sides in a story suck in their own way but still also have valid points. I'd kinda want to get them to work together but also kinda want to just wipe them out and make something better.

When Wrath meets the pirate ship with Sebastian, Veo, and Pluto, he clearly has a lot of explaining to do! Joe plays it brilliantly! I can’t help but think that Veo would quickly go along with the cat plan…. So really it’s up to Rudy, Sebastian, Willhelm, and Pluto to object. It’s pretty hard to talk out of both sides of your mouth with two characters, so I see why this was nearly impossible to role play! Definitely a good attempt, but I missed Pluto and Wilhelm in the discussion. Perhaps something to take note of for future adventures, it’s just too hard to give good thought to more than one character.

Spoiler sorta By the edicts of lumen that we know, no mage born and no children of mage born may hold noble titles. As far as i know it doesn't say anything about a noble possessing magic through other means, after all nobles buy scrolls and magic trinkets from the academy and such. Gaining magic from an extra planar being via pact is not much different as its a give and take, cost and reward system just the same. By very definition they are not mage born and thus do not fall under the jurisdiction of the edicts in this capacity

I don't want to be a grammar-Nazi here, but I feel like I should point out that the intro has a mistake in it (as far as I can tell, anyway). We don't say something is 'more great', we say it's 'greater'. So it should say things have grown 'greater and more terrible', not 'more great and terrible'.
