In Nimroz Province in southern Afghanistan, archaeologists are working to preserve a number of ancient buildings that are at risk of total collapse. They appear to have the support of local Taliban officials, but there are concerns that the regime might change its policy.

As a student of indian history, afghanistan was a party of ancient india Or work as a wall for invaders, once a flourished Buddhist land but islam has totally changed the status in 50yrs after the fall of kabul hindu shahi afghanistan did not able to stand till 18th century when ahmeh shah became a rulers but after this sikhs came in power

we wish to re VITALISE all our ancient centres.
Probably just as vulnerable as the historical artifacts were in the last Taliban regime. Very, but some survive, some didn't.
Terrible. But it's been happening since the beginning.
If people don't want to protect their own history... Why should world.
