It's also noteworthy that King Hassan did what he did just to help Fujimaru and co get to their destination safely, he didn't put up a sandstorm to weaken Gawain then remove said sandstorm to let Gawain Excalibur Galatine him for his own sake. A simple swat with his mantle was enough to parry a Grail Boosted, Goddess Blessed A+ Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. The fact that King Hassan could have killed Gawain even with his Numeral of the Saint blessing in play but chose not to doesn't even show a small portion of his (King Hassan's) power.

In Moon Cell the strength of a servant changes based on the feedback of the master and their bond a lot more than other Systems. Besides remember that Domus Aurea is a Reality Marble and there is no Sun there. That Hakuno is not a normal spiritron master but a Dead Face who can exceed common limits, while Leo has lost much of his mental strength after his ideal was crashed. We can see the moment Hakuno's feedback gives her even more power. How they comes back is related too. The power of the will, the power of the soul that takes form in the spiritron space of Moon Cell, that's what really matters and they had the right to be on that floor having fought to go there and not having lost yet. About the part in Domus Aurea, she used the particularity of it being a theatre to bring even more power as the last act instead of the Reality Marble being distrupted by the destruction caused by Gawain and losing its powers and turns the table on him. She fights in accordance with her legend and her spirit until the end consuming everything in a blaze. Nero is an awesome tragic heroic spirit who deserves respect

And people say Sieg's plot armor is strong.

Gawain is my favorite character in all of Fate/FGO and the more I watch this the more annoyed I get at the plot armor Nero has here. There's no way she could've survived that. Especially since the sun is out which makes Gawain a lot stronger.

@@raonair If you have Command Seals, you can use one of them to give her 100% NP three times in a row and just beat him down. Or, play normally and eventually lose, and then just use all three to get all your Servants at 100% NP and then just use all three at once, with Euryale going last to get that sweet, sweet 300% charge. If you die again, just take a deep breathe and sacrifice a free SQ. Or, be willing to wait three days for your Command Seals to refill and try again. If you can, try to give a few rolls on the Jeanne Archer banner and level her as much as possible. I can't remember if Gawain neutralizes class advantage, I know one of them does (I think Lancelot?). But if Gawain doesn't, then Jeanne Archer would come in handy. Borrow a Merlin or Waver Support, or if you have Servants that use a lot of Quick attacks, get Scathach-Skadi. She first skill increase Quick effectiveness to the point of fucking ridiculousness (crit Quicks hitting 50,000 and such), second skill lowers the defence of all enemies, and third is an absolutely massive NP battery for a Servant of your choosing. Plus, her NP gives a one time evade, damage cut, death resistance and one other thing I can't remember. Unfortunately, I don't have her (not for a lack of trying, mind you), but she's amazing to use as a support Servant, even if I'm not using a Quick focused team, she's just that good. Pairing her with my Waver (that I got randomly on a banner I didn't even know he was on) leads to a ridiculous amount of NPs being thrown around by the two of them and my Mashu (level 80, skills all tens, almost done maxing her attack and defence because I love her and she's so damn useful). Seriously, use one of the four Meme-Tier Support Servants(TM): Tamamo-no-Mae, Zhuge Liang (Waver Velvet), Merlin or Scathach-Skadi. Use at least one of them (or more, if you were lucky) to just fucking decimate anyone and everyone in your way because you're now pretty much unstoppable.

@@raonair No problem! I'm here to help as much as I can. It's my way of making up for my good luck at random times. I love the fact that I can get lucky and get good Servants... but I also abhor and hate myself for getting those good Servants where others were not able. So, I attempt to atone for it by being as helpful as I can to other Masters playing FGO.

@DarkEternal6 You can't compare Fate/Stay Night to this. There was never there a situation when one would block an Excalibur level NP with just their bare weapon and plot armor. The situations would always be molded properly and made believable by the world rules. But here.....I can't take this scene seriously.

@DarkEternal6 It may be that it was almost too convenient for him to have enough power to defeat Gilgamesh, but the author never cut corners with that fight. The reason he was able to and mechanics were properly explained, with no holes in logic. But here, it's like it would have been for Shirou to walk up to Gilgamesh and just punch him in the face to show dominance, that's how ridiculous this is.

@DarkEternal6 Actually, that part was perfectly explained. He inherited the UBW from his fight with Archer and the magic energy to power that from his link with Rin. No inconsistencies there whatsoever. You should rewatch it if you forgot this much.

I mean, Lancelot's profiles directly establishes that his holy sword doesn't do the whole laser beam of death thing. It's basically the highest-ranked self-buff NP (exceeding even Achilles's speed NP by 5 ranks) that we've seen so far I believe.

Well, Saberlot's Arondight has an anti-army Noble Phantasm, but that's not the intended use of the sword, so you're not wrong. I'm pretty sure it was intentionally set up this way. The three sister swords, Arondight, Galatine, and Excalibur, each have different classifications: anti-unit, anti-army, and anti-fortress respectively.

Arondight is originally a Anti-Army Noble Phantasm, but Lancelot is a twat and abuses the fact that it's fairy made, that means, it is indestructible, so he overloads and focus into a Anti-Unit attack, basically a Broken Phantasm ultra concentrated that will never break.

one of the best NP ;D!

Lancelot? Yes but he prefer to use his beam in a concentrated slash.

Actually karna is super nerfed due to terrible compatibility with Jinako. So much so that he can barely summon his own spear due to high mana consumption. Also when facing VS, Gawain used a number of buffs and deflected the actual attack but still got injured.

Apparently, a heavily suppressed Karna is equal to Gawain without the sun, and a Karna with Kavacha and Kundala active, and an actual master is equal to Gawain with the sun. That says a lot about Karna though, cause Gawain with the sun is quite overpowered, his already strong stats literally triple. Lancelot had to stall until the sun went down to beat him. Sun Gawain, literally dueled a Grand Servant. Sun Gawain, if I remember Camelot, also Tanked Excalibur? well it was in Bedivere's arm, but it was still insane. If I remember correctly. I may be misremembering cause it has been a while since I read Camelot.

@@punishedx what does that mean? Tripling his stats? They are not the same as three ranks higher, that's for sure. So that boost doesn't really mean much.

@@skychieftain I mean numeral of a saint, states that all of his abilities increase threefold. Which means he is 3x stronger. which means the boost is quite strong.

@@punishedx I know that he becomes three times stronger, but that is not quantify-able in terms of parameter ranks. So I doubt that it means anything great. For example, Arondight itself when possessed by lancelot increases all of his physical parameters by one rank. That is more indicative of power increase as compared to just 3× physical power increase.

Well yeah for now.... We all know at some point artoria will unleash the true power of her excalibur by unlocking excalibur's oath and if she unlocks it,it will remain unlocked unlike proto arthur so at that point we can say that artoria is one of the strongest servants heck she might be the grand saber or grand saber level.

@@LeemVonNelly those ranks only indicate the np range and potential but nothing says that an anti army np can't be incredibly strong. And sieg was full of buffs in that fight. that was not a normal balmung

I still prefer saber's Lancelot Arondight NP. Thinking that arondight Overload is an anti army NP that Lancelot focus on just one target is so epic.

I dont know much of fate games, even less of its character feats,but I Wonder if Gawain could do Well against Karna, since he powers up from sun and Karna is Son of sun god, making him sun demi-god 🤔

I watched first order and apocrypha and i liked them a lot, this series was ok for me because of the lack of the ideology clash, for my love for Nero as a character they always focusing on her without the other cool servants like Li shuwen, Robin hood and Gawain. The dialogues suits Monogatari more than fate

Nursery Rhyme episodes were the best ones, in my opinion. A little bir confusing, but pretty good. Gawain and Nero's fight coreography was good, but I just cant stand seeing her trying to blocking Galatine like that. Robin's fight was poorly executed and rushed, and Li Shuwen fight... I feel like something was missing. Nero backstory was pretty well executed. Overall, its a okay anime. Of course, if anyone disagrees, feel free to debate, would love to hear other opinions.
