Aye ha ha ha my country isn't as flat as northern france :D hope the weather wasn't too harsh ;) I've cycled a lot of that on my bikes and some of it on my fatbike.

Well, as a guy who has ride a fair bit in Scotland, I can say that this video depicts very accurately what it is to cycle there. Best country ever for mountainbiking. If you want to bikepack there, you beter get a fatty!! Bothy life. I miss it every day.

Quite an adventure in some pretty rubbish weather, well some of the time. The usual Scottish weather. And some 'standard' expect anything Scottish trails. Respect! One to remember. Thanks for sharing. Why did you visit Scotland? Will you come back?

Hi ! Not shown on this video but we ended up in Iles of Skye and had 3 days of amazing sunn :) We'll probably come back as scotland is the place to ride wild singles tracks in West Europe ! Still a lot to discover more north even thow worse weather could wait for us...

@Pierre-E. Petit Salut Pierre. Le poids dépend beaucoup de deux facteurs: le montage de roues que tu choisis et si tu restes en fourche rigide (éventuellement carbone pour optimiser) ou suspendue. Globalement en mode big fat 26*4.6Ar, le max, et 4.8 Av), tu descendras difficilement en dessous de 14 kg, même bien monté. En mode 29+ tu gagnes 1.5 Kg, c'est marrant aussi mais c'est plus le même vélo... Si tu veux plus de détails, on peut échanger par email ou autre. Mais c'est une excellente base ce biclou est un couteau suisse. Les autres fat étaient kona wo 2015 et SPécialized fatboy 2016. Mon avis est que pour le voyage, un montage en 27.5 "petit fat" (entre 3.25 et 3.8) doit être un super compromis entre confort et rendement. Je suis sur le point de tester.
