Looks like a set up. Dude was ejected the instant the car hit the fence like he wasn't restrained at all. If he was wearing a harness somebody forgot to bolt it to anything.

BeamNG has great crash physics however I notice these cars rocket off while ricocheting from the walls in a quite weird way like they loose all their collective weight. Can't wait till racing games really implement a solid simulated destruction in the future.

This comment ^ I asked the same question back in the nfs underground days and the answer I got was manufacturers don't want their cars deforming in game because it might deture people from buying them irl if they see the car blowing apart in a game. It sounds ridiculous, because it is.

Ok, 2:16 is the most realistic by far. If you hit the wall hard enough even with a full face crash helmet you can still get severe injuries that are bad enough to cause blunt force trauma and brain trauma which can kill you, not to mention his legs were probably crushed to…

The version of modern Adelaide on BeamNG that I can find is from the early 2000's but the one that you have is far newer than that one is, where did you get it?

if you get the road grip editor and set hydrodynamic friction to 0.01-0.06 it should work. (0.01 is the least violent flip and 0.06 in the most violent)

If you are showing as is it was in the past few years, none of those wrecks would have been fatal based on the safety precautions all the racing league such as NASCAR, INDY, Formula1, etc. would have the certain safety procedures on the car as well as the track...…and those wrecks look extremely exaggerated to the point where it doesn't seem real. I've never heard of or seen anybody get ejected out of the vehicle when racing.
