Fat San Pak Mei classic move explanation #1 佛山 白眉拳

Спорт

This is the first explanation video of a série where i will show some fatsan pakmei classical moves. In this first one, i show Soo Sao following with Chong Choy in a usual combo.Be indulgent with me, the talking in front of the camera like an actor are a new experience and need more time to masterd :)
Enjoy!

a good fighting art because: 1. it can use few movements to solve many types of attacks. The fewer moves you need, the more effective it is. 2. know to pin down your opponents hand, prevent he from making a fake attack. 3. consecutive attacks. 4. some practical techniques good at self defense 5. suitable for short guys, who strength is weak but high at agility.

Amazing demonstration. Many misunderstood that the explosiveness comes from muscles, but many don’t know it’s from the tendons.

You know for all the bull Kung Fu gets from mma elitists, this is very no nonsense, direct hard hitting stuff with many applications akin to that of more modern styles. I heard Bak Mei could be very brutal, but this just confirms it.

Not that kungfu gets from mma elitists, but the mma elitists get from kungfu ! Kungfu has existed earlier than mma, for hundreds and thousands of years !

Very good video. I learned from my teacher no fight should last longer than 30 seconds. You demonstrated that principle in an excellent manner. Excuse me, I don;t know your name, but the tall fellow is extremely fast, but I know it is not as fast as he can be. Also, the techniques here much more realistic on the street where you are likely to act fast in the situation. It is best you keep your feet and stance solidly on the ground, as demonstrated here. Very good work. I look forward to seeing you longer videos. Thank you.

I think u did a great job! I look forward to your series always good to see the real fatsan kungfu. I also visited Fatsan in 2006 & 07 & there I met Grandmaster Mai Yu Qiang & his lion dance team in the Wong fei hung temple. At the time I didn't know he was so famous! Good video!

Considering the fact there are edge of hand and open hand strikes how do you spar and familiarise yourself with getting hit whilst continuing with the fight in say an unprovoked attack? Thanks.

Nice. Clean and no flowers. Since only about 10% of the population is left handed you might consider working against an orthodox (left foot/left hand forward) presenting partner. Being a "southpaw" has many advantages in real world. Most street trash doesn't even realize it until way too late. Step into the Dead Door and blast with the two limbs on one limb advantage. Simple and effective.

A lot of these practitioners don't really care about competing for others entertainment. You be surprised how many of them actually are big fans of MMA, but they too train just as hard for self preservation and be able to fight if need be.
