It was great hearing him talk about Haiti. He was also honest in his assessment regarding corruption also. Other nations have tried to help the people of Haiti. I was always amazed at the poverty that existed while both Popa Doc and Baby Doc each walked away with billions of dollars. That money would have helped the people of the small island nation so much.

Not Kotex 😂😂😂 That’s ol school slang that all the female elders used to use for feminine products

Foreign people still refer to it as that, all my family back home and other immigrants I meet say that 😭

Kotex is also an actual brand. It was the first commercial brand that made feminine products and so the name for them stuck with the old schools as Kotex regardless to which brand they were talking about. Similar to how we called all SUVs Jeeps back in the day before SUVs were being produced by all car manufacturers and how many people with kids refer to diapers as pampers and people call any cotton swabs Q-tips, etc.

It’s not slang it’s a brand lol just like xerox isn’t slang for making a copy

No $h!t, I know that it is a brand name also! But many of our elders called them Kotex compared to my generation calling them pads! When Fat Joe said kotex, it made me chuckle because I know he got that SLANG term from his mom or an elder because we are around the same age!

@@sherondahi11cool but it’s not really slang is my point. It’s like jacuzzi, chapstick, thermos are brands, but people call other brands by those names without thinking.

Joe’s story about the correspondent made me love him that much more. That is my worst fear. I used to tell my friend when I was a teen if I met Jay and he mistreated me, I’d probably be in jail. Celebrities don’t understand how they could change a kid’s entire outlook. Joe is so humble and will always be blessed! 💜

Envy never leaves an opportunity to fail. You can make the most important or impactful statement of the interview and his very next question be COMPLETELY irrelevant and also off topic. Like geesh!
