I know, but that one gets boring like Very quickly and also doesnt have chests with nice loot tables. Arch haven is just a tad bit longer and I think tons more fun to do as well

UltraGeo False. Gear can and will downgrade. The upgrade isn’t an upgrade, it’s a re-roll based on the power range. If you trade a 113 to a level 1, it’ll go down also.

monalylah I try to inform people on how these systems work lol. The Wiki clearly states that the blacksmith upgrade system goes by the difficulty of your maps.

A video on the daily missions would be helpful. I don't know how they certainly work. It's confusing to say the least.

I did this first day. At power 115 it took me 7 time of upgrading 1 item to go from 110 to 111. This method is very rng based. Only benefit is getting back needed perk points for those that are short on them. Even dropping in lower level items tested level 80 feather and only went to 108 on first time through black smith. Unfortunately for 114 players at start of new dlc this becomes a terrible time sink.

I understand

IMO Desert Temple is one of the fastest run to the exit if you just run start to finish.

desert temple is really good just make sure you check for 4/4 artifacts available after loading in and then leave after you kill enderman/pig

I discovered that the upgrading actually caps at power 229. You can't use the blacksmith for that power level item or an item with higher power

I think that the “???” Level is faster because if you go in with a phantom bow (if u have it) that has overcharge and void touch on ur sword u can just run through the mobs and 1 shot the boss

Another solid vid. What production software do you use? I've been messing around with OpenShot, seems pretty feature rich for open source.

the lower temple is also a pretty good speedrun mission if you want to complete the 3 missions.

I know a nother fast level !!! I tester it, and you can play the tutorial to " complete the missions" ( but I don't know if it is faster...many you could test that.

I have to test if doing 3 trials (max item level 118) does let the item to be upgraded at that item level. Cause that bs reroll my gear at 112 10 times and 112 is the max drop of the normal lvls

Alternatively, if you don’t have good speedrunning gear or Soggy cave, just speedrun Squid Coast.

It would be better if they fixed the power level. The max is technically 118 but you can't upgrade that high it only goes up to 113.

I'm so slow in this game lol. I haven't even unlocked the cow level yet.

Any idea if there is a way to transfer items through our own characters using the gift merchant? I accidentally clobbered my triple cooldown robe by trying to upgrade it. #facepalm. I did clone it first with my fav build: Battle Robe - 3x cool; Cursed Axe - Crit,Grav,Leech; Harp - pierce, inf, multi; Firework, Cloak, Mushroom. Sucks that all of the inventory doesn't get cloned. I'd like to get that 3x cooldown robe back in my main character's inventory.

You should do the stronghold mission there is this glitch where if you go through the end portal and return in the end that will count as an mission

Now its you gotta upgrade based on difficulty so whats the level until you gotta do a higher than adventurer?

How is the price calculated? I have an items, that costs 5500 emeralds to upgrade.

For some reason I can't upgrade my gear at the blacksmith ill complete the missions but they won't level up beyond 111 and 112 either and my power level is 114 and the recommended level is also 114 on the missions I chose to do while completing missions for the blacksmith.

It’s funny to me because the two I CANNOT FIND are Arch Haven and Soggy Cave.

How do you have a costum cape?

I use a whispering spear with two max prospecter enchantments but ive upgraded it like 5 times but it still sits at level 38.

Well the best one is mooshroom monstrosity because you get good loot and is also short mission

how do you unlock the upgrade slots though... i have the blacksmith but it says i have to complete 7 mainland missions on default, but idk how to do that... i did 2 apparently but it's not working when i finished the mission, it should be at 3/7 but it's not.. it's 2/7 still... I'm so confused..

Are we able to get the weapon back if we put one in an upgrade slot? I haven’t tested it

The item you put in the blacksmith does it lose the enchantments on it and rerolls the enchantments or does the enchantments stay

No, the enchantment is not rolled only the power level that change, you just get back your enchantment point when you start put it on the blacksmith so you can apply it back when your gear done upgraded

If you try and u[grade an enchanted item it says it gives your enchantment points back, but what I want to know is do the actual enchantments get rerolled as well? Can we re-enchant the upgraded item with the same enchantments?

idk but if you have stronghold just speedrun ur way to the end portal amd once the other level loads go back to camp and that counts as passing a level its the fastest way

What happens if your game crashes for whatever reason while blacksmith is holding your items? Will you lose them forever?

So i have my armor and have upgrading this armor np 5 times?

Does anyone know if there are new armor and weapons that are exclusive to daily trials? I found a new armor set called Ghostly Armor which I could only see on the gear drops for one of my daily trials. If so, then this is really cool. Has anyone else found any seemingly daily trial exclusive items?

If you put in a Totem of Regeneration that is at 80, would it come out at 100 or does it only go up a single point each time? I put in an Iron Golem at 99 and it only came out 100.

it depends on your current power level and the difficulty you complete the third mission on, always equip your highest power gear possible before entering the third required mission to upgrade and then re-equip it again before finishing that mission

actually, the cow level is the fastest lol. I timed how long all 3 took and the cow lvl took less time to beat than soggy caves and arch haven soggy caves: 56 seconds if you get the 2 button puzzle on both gates arch haven: 55 seconds cow lvl: 27-30 seconds edit- but you know, you gotta be able to 1 shot the boss on the cow lvl though

@@WIDERisBETTER speed run gear most likely. Ghost cloak, artifact cooldown verdant robes or similar Armour, deathcap shroom, and speed boots. Just run through/past all the cows using the artifacts to go through the cows and move very fast to the end. Then the only that can slow you down and why the others could be better is fighting the boss at The end of the level.

You need to get good then put stuff in black smith then during the missions use the highest possible gear you have to increase you power which will give you a higher chance of getting higher level items

How do you unlock the blacksmith?

Can someone clear up if it is possible to upgrade a item past 113 from everything I can gather from wikis and reddit it is not possible and the upgrade caps at 113. Which stinks as I have spent a HUGE amount of time attempting to get my gear leveled up past 113 and I do not want to waste any more time if its not possible.

IMO Cow Level is the most efficient level for upgrading items.

The enchantments stay the same but it does reset them and all you have to do is upgrade it again

In the teaser image for Dungeons, there was a unique blade in front of the luxury merchant. I have my 50 powerful mobs defeated so he is maxed out. I was wondering if anyone knew what the blade was or if I’m just being stupid

Matthew Martinez It’s based on your power level. It says so in the blacksmith and I had my Apoc 7 Whirlwind upgrade from only default missions.

Power level. For example, yesterday I had two Lvl 57 speed boots and one Lvl 56, they were all upgraded 19 levels (My average power level) I did Creeper Woods on Default I three times.

When you enter the cave, go to the hole in the wall at the left then go on the platform and roll across on to the acacia wood wall then roll across to the chest and loot it. I also had trouble getting the chest so hope this helps;)
