Unload gravel the fast way

Not a very fast way when you have to first plant a tree and then wait 15 years for it to grow enough to be an anchor point..... Now you still have to shovel all that gravel off the tarp; which takes longer than shoveling it off a trailer bed because one, you have to move the gravel in an upward motion whereas on the trailer it is a downward motion (less work by far, I've done both) and two, you have to be careful not to ruin/tear the tarp while shoveling the gravel when the trailer bed requires no such worry.

Sorry I forgot to post part two. It involves driving the opposite direction using the same strap going over the gravel. Took about 2 minutes to set up and about 20 seconds to drive away. I thought that was common sense. Smarter not harder.

And this is why I have a 7'x16' dump trailer. With the included ramps, I can haul equipment like skid loader, excavator, tractor, I can haul material like top soil, sand, gravel, concrete, and of course dump runs or anything else you can think of. When you want to dump material........ It's just a a press of a button.

If you grab the tarp at the front of the trailer it rolls it over and doesn’t drag the tarp so the tarp doesn’t get work out as bad, plus you end up with the tarp on top of the pile.

Not really. As it starts to roll it'll start to pour out the sides and you'll have a mess. I have a dump truck so these methods seem silly but if you only have a trailer I can understand doing this but pulling from the front isn't going to work on a trailer that long kinda common sense

I though about something similar with wood, but now I realize the problem is it's on the ground on top of the tarp or what ever you use. Maybe unhook, park truck perpendicular to trailer and use come-along to flip trailer on side (if wheels could handle) or end to end like a dump. But at least you are thinking of new ways. Well done!

Well, I say solution in search of a problem and then problem solved, which sounds/is stupid, but “wrong tool for the job” definitely applies here.
