Ah, absolutely no messing Mike. If the weather were less than favorable or you were tired after a long trek this would be ideal. I must get my hammock out. All the best bro. Mark

Aye Mark, I do enjoy the hammock. Where we live it's not the best for tent camping unless you're at a camping site. So, the hammock enables me to camp nearly anywhere in the many woodlands and forests that we have. If the weather is a bit dodgy throwing up a quick tarp over the top is perfect.

@@OutdoorWithMike Nice to hear Mike - a great tool for sure. Them tarps have helped many out before now in inclement weather. Take care mate.

My DD hammock the under part ripped as it was stitched too tight during manufacturing. . . Contacted DD and they weren't bothered to replace it even though I had used it only once. . Ruined hammock camping for me from that point on .

That's very poor customer service Owen. I've had mine just over a year and have had no issues to date. Whenever, i've had an issue with an item where an email or phone call hasn't resolved an issue I put a few posts online and tag the company in it. They tend to respond quicker and more favourably that way. Hope your well.

@@OutdoorWithMike well they aren't to know if it was user error or not, but i didn't feel good about it . It was poor Quality Control.. and my wife bought it for me so she was a bit miffed by it. But whenever i hear the name i recall the bad experience. Its been a while since i mentioned it. It ruins whole videos for me thinking about being on an island and hearing the ripping noise as i got back into the thing after a pee. The irony of the DD thing was they said any problems just send us a photo. I sent them photos of a spotless brand new item with the second sheet split perfectly and they did not accept it was their fault. took the hammock out recently and measure the inside material length and the outside material length ... the outside was 4 Cm shorter.. I amtempted to cut off the material outer its like a sheet where you can insert an under quilt. other wise the hammock itself is fine, but it still bring up bad memories ... I appreciate your advice, but i'm not into playing this sad tune, This may indeed help me get over it by talking about it. isn't that what they say helps. You were just the kind enough person that i felt i could vent what i felt. Its like a trigger. I think i missed one of your films this week, i'll have a look .. thanks for letting me vent, sorry to everyone else.

@@lifesahobby Mate venting is all good. 🙂It's better to get it out than it is to hold on to it. Maybe, you should get out for another hammock camp to exercise the ghost of the past experience.

@lifesahobby maybe a ceremonial burning or binning of the hammock might be a better option then. 😂😂
