UCF RB Adrian Killins
Senior 5’8 164 lbs
As the old saying goes; speed kills and that’s exactly how you’d describe UCF RB Adrian Killins game. He can literally score from anywhere on the field. If you give him a hole or even a crease, it’s game over. If a defender fails to take a good angle, it’s game over as well.
You just can’t teach this kind of speed, which is why Killins uses it to his advantage. He is arguably the fastest player in college football. You could put his speed up there with De’Anthony Thomas, Reggie Bush, Lamar Jackson, Tyreek Hill, Henry Ruggs III, Kyler Murray & John Ross.
Killins was a big part of the offense that lead UCF to it’s undefeated season along with McKenzie Milton, Mike Hughes and one handed superstar Shaquem Griffin. His play making ability along with his nasty jukes help put UCF on the map.
Unfortunately, Killins didn’t get invited to the NFL Combine, so we didn’t get to see him run the 40 yard dash, but you can expect his time to be FAST.

    UCF RB Adrian Killins could be the fastest player in college football. He was a track star in high school & was expected to run a fast forty, but was not invited to the Combine. Killins’ speed can make an impact in the run, pass & return game. People are still sleeping on him right now, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him make plays at the next level. *Check out other 2020 NFL Draft Prospects:* kzread.info/head/PL7beoccrCdzK6laD84GrEzINNd3IqiIz0

    JustBombsProductions Why wasn’t Killins invited to the Combine? Damn I see enough where no body even touches him!! The scout should know speed kills!! One play with Killins and this guy will bring it to the house!! If I was a coach or GM I will be stupid not to get him!! Killins will pack the house in every home game!! And with that equals $$$$ for the team!!! And sold out home games!! Man I better see Killins in the NFL or someone isn’t doing their homework on talent!!

    Lol dude all highlight videos will show the best of the prospect. He's fun to watch. I wish him nothing but the best, however, I assure you he could not break more than one or two tackles a year in the League. Not a slight on him; he simply needs to put on 30-50 pounds of solid muscle. The problem? Obviously, he'd lose that burst. Being invited to the Combine, in a vacuum, doesn't mean much. Hell, Brandon Brooks was inexplicably held out of his, and now he's the best RG in the NFL. Again, though, he had all the traits one would want at OG. This dude is a hybrid of a WR/RB/KR that is relegated to a certain deep sub packaged plays -- if he ever even makes it to the NFL. Still can root for him.

  • @darellhunter6621

    @darellhunter6621

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@uncletom356 Bro he's only 5 ft 7, he doesn't need to be 200+ pounds to succeed in the NFL. It's not like he will be a 3 down back anyway, he'll mostly be used as 3rd down receiving back, slot receiver and as a return man.

  • @uncletom356

    @uncletom356

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@darellhunter6621 I agree with the latter half of your statement. If your argument is he doesn't need to add weight because he'll get very few carries and touches in the NFL outside of special teams, then I suppose I may agree. But look at Darren Sproles. Look at all short RBs current and past. They all had stout frames in order to break tackles/run through arm tackles. Lastly, since I brought up Darren Sproles, I'll bring up a guy whom the Eagles thought could replace him -- Donnell Pumphrey. He has the record for most rushing yards in NCAA history, ran a 40 in the 4.4s and was very, very similar size to Killins. May even be the exact same, give or take. So, a guy with that pedigree surely thrived, insofar that he could be a special teamer and third-down RB, correct? No. He's out of the league, and was cut after his first year in the NFL. I understand there is no monolithic prototype of "future elite player" or "future productive player." I just have a very hard time seeing a guy who's 5'7-5'8" 150-160 pounds ever remotely making an impact/being a "needle-mover" for any NFL team. I have nothing against short RBs. Some of the best all time have been short. But almost zero -- maybe in fact, zero -- successful RBs are built like Killings without thick legs and much more upper body girth. However, as an olive branch, I'll again agree he may have a chance strictly as a three-to-five touch per game on offense guy with the rest on special teams. Not sexy, but would be solid. Personally, I wouldn't touch him until Pick 200 (give or take a few) at the earliest. I have nothing against him. I would love to root for him. I'm also using my eyes, judgement and basic history. We'll see.

  • @darellhunter6621

    @@uncletom356 I get your point, he's basically a Dri Archer clone, and we all know how he panned out. But either way I see value in him as a kick returner, he's extremely quick and has elite breakaway speed.

It is a hidden jewel conference where good players can come and SHINE. You will get national exposure more so than any league in the West. Congratulations Adrian K.!! Go tear it up in Philly. I will be watching out for you. 7 Memphis players were drafted! I thought I would never hear the story that all 32 NFL organizations came to Memphis to scout its' players. 8+ years ago it was irrevelant now everyone is excited. I like the AAC!

    Speed isn't always enough. I remember a few drafts ago the steelers reached big time and selected some guy in the third round that was a bit unknown but the fastest player in the draft. Dude was a huge bust. He had a similar build, short small but fast. Edit: Dri Archer was his name. And he played in the league for 3 years and had 40 yards rushing overall. He ran a 4.26 at the combine though. One of the fastest times ever.
