The first one is for showing off as well as any of the very expensive commercial machines. I take my hat off to the creative fellows. But I salute the gentle man who designed and built the combo buzz saw firewood pump in grey! His wifey walking in the background has wise man for a hubby....KL
This is why I made children. They are great wood stackers. Three year olds can stack a lot of wood.
Последний дровакол самый лучший
The one ast 12:20 seems really the best in terms of efficiency and simplicity.
Love the mechanics of the 2nd splitter with the wheel drive and clutch handle! Very cool oldschool design!
The old sawmill blade was the only one that look scary . . .
10:42 - 12:20 Top!!!
Thats getting it done there. Was fun to watch. Great video
I so wish I could make one of these.
This is absolutely amazing shows you how many very intelligent people are out in the world
I love the way all the timber is absolutely straight and knot free. This makes the job so easy, nothing like the real world!

The only bit of wood that had a big knot in it they didn’t even show you it splitting!

I’ve got a 20 ton Browns PTO splitter and it’s never missed a log regardless how hard the wood is or the size of the knots but you’re right this looks to good to be true.
My favorite is the 2nd one. It's fast, strong enough for the job, only moves when you want to, can be hooked to several types of different motors (gas, electric, whaterwheel, tractor PTO, etc), and seems to be simple enough to fix in case it breaks.
Love the music on the first one.
I like the way the ramp on the first one goes like 12' in the air to drop it into a 4' trailer.
To be perfectly honest, a majority of these machines can be replaced by two strong lads, a crosscut saw and a couple of axes. Much cheaper and they generally run on sandwiches and beer.
Everyone has all their fingers. All their eyes. All their hands. All their arms.
The last one is simply the best

Dude the first one was awesome
my favorite is the last machine you showed
8:30 That grey one with the buzz saw and splitter built in one, is one of the few that are substatially faster than a couple guys with axes AND MUCH less labour intensive ... if I was still heating mainlt with wood I'd make up that one .. Last winter (I'm in Canada) we saved about $600 on home heating costs JUST by buring scrap lumber, a few dozen skids, and some garbage furniture .. we didn;t put the gas furnace at all until January
11:13 - Didn't get pulled into a wood chipper. Today was a good day.
8:20 Best
Yeah that saw looks real safe
The last machine with higher working position would be great, mostly silent and effective machine 👍

I just finished watching a Vincent Price movie. Oddly similar.
I remember a video of an old man that was hand splitting wood and had surrounded his home with firewood. The firewood was serving as a windbreak and insulation. So much dedication in all of that.
Ooohhh yay normal farm work

Some of those log splitters were way before their time, especially the Kinetic log splitter. great video👍

I liked the last one the most. It´s not too fast to handle it safely, it´s not that loud screaming in your ear, you can´t hurt that much.

I’d say you will, after splitting a chord being stooped over like that, someone would have to carry me to the truck because my lower back would be out of service.
1st would go good with the last one and 2nd would be good all around
Thanks for the video, can you tell me who built the first machine?
This is shandisfice video
We need more people like him.
second to last one best one
What brand is the chipper on the back of that tractor, having the pieces shooting into those netted bags?
These people did not have enough toys as children .
Seen them all before
Would it be that people would put as much effort into solving real problems.

That third one is pretty terrifying ngl
Most of these guys most use cooking stoves or really small fireplaces
Noticed the crap some people have to burn for fire wood. Probably works fine in moderate climates though.
thank god, we have CSA , dose it have csa approvement?
Why is it that a majority of automatic splitters only have the one blade? I would think that four or six blades would utilize better production on obtaining firewood.

Tons of force per slit axis based on thickness of wood. Oak for example, I've stalled out a 2 ton splitter on a 24" diameter log. So per split axis you need so many tons of force output and the more directions, to more you need. That being said, there are very expensive machines that do what you are saying, but that is prohibitively expensive for the standard farmer or home heater. I now have a 16 ton splitter that my grandfather built out of parts from a bulldoser that only has a single splitter, because I only use it for big rounds (36" diameter or so") otherwise I like my portable and easy to use 2 ton electric unit. For me, it's not about production, it's about the exercise, and yes, I do pull out the maul and wedges too.
Very relaxing to watch.
I don't need to watch a truck wheel cutting wood for 10 minutes, I get the point. Gets boring after a few pieces.
I always see these demonstrated on small, soft woods. How about some white oak, hickory,or some elm?

That's called a kinetic splitter.
I can't belive a person would spend that much money on a verticle splitter that you have to crawl around on the ground to operate
the first frame of the machine for cutting logs. Where can it be found and the price, thank you

Well if you gotta use a machine,, you might as well just fire up the furnace.. and pay those bills.
Where can i buy this products?
Not single one of them were automatic though
I don't think Poland has an OSHA
Put some Real firewood logs in those things. Not sticks and splinters.
I don’t understand the theory behind the first machine. If you have to cut the original tree into 4’ sections, why not simply cut the logs to final length and skip the machine all together?

Not sure why it seems they over split their wood.
First machine cuts hobby size wood, my stove eats 20+"
The first one seems kind of useless. It cuts a log in half and that log must be less than a certain length. I would think it would be faster to take a chainsaw and do the whole log down the line instead of cutting it into pieces twice as large as you want and then putting this machine together to get them half that length.
@kofola9145
3 жыл бұрын
Well, you get logs of certain sizes from ppl who harvest trees, Europe uses cut to length harvesters. And there is a hole at one side, so it does not look like you are limited to a certain size. Looks great to me.

Satisfaction.
Here we are again, ,watching people splitting different types of soft strate grain logs, ,,it's not hard wood and soft woods are not very good for heating a home,it burns very fast with not very much heat,,compared to hard woods like oak, hickory ,maple an hard wood takes allot more effort to split ,,so I'm not impressed by these videos, ,put some real fire wood on those splitters and see how it goes
@catey62
4 жыл бұрын
You should try Aussie hardwoods..Red Gum, Jarrah, and Mallee..some of the highest heat output and longest burning timbers you can get. and a decent sized mallee stump will burn nearly all night long and give off a lot of warmth and leave you with only a little bit of very fine ash.
