This was one of the best guiding video´s i have seen for a long time, very specific and explaining when, why and how to level up. Normally in a video there is a lot of assumptions on ingame knowlegde, you get around that, remembering to tell when we should change to ex. tier 3, why and how. Thanks for your effort and guidance. :)

You can buy sacred/ancestral gear as soon as youre in your respective wt. Just go to gamble merchant and purchase them. Lvl requirements are 35 for sacred 55 for ancestral.

So I'm pretty lost, just started playing D4 last week and started a seasonal character, last night beat the campaign and haven't done any of the renown or side quest. im currently at level 50, do I continue to play in Helltide? I tried to beat Fallen Temple and got stopped immediately. any help/insight is appreciated.

Are they set in stone? The first ones must just dropped sacred stuff then cause I saved them until I got into WT3 at level 28 and they gave me level 35 sacred legendaries and unique pieces

Is there a way to level glyphs faster then spamming nightmare dungons?

So is it worth it to do dungeons for the aspects for the build like before or will you probably find all the aspects you need blasting helltide?

You will find every aspect you need just through leveling in helltide. Regular dungeons are useless.

Salvaging now adds any affixes that were on the salved items into your codex at the highest level you have salvaged at. For example, salvaging something with a possible [3% - 10%] that you rolled a 6% on will add it as a 6% roll in your codex, rather than the base minimum you would get by unlocking it through a dungeon. The only reasons to run through dungeons is for rep or if you are having a hard time finding a specific affix that you need. (Note: This is what I understood for how it works now. Corrections welcome.)

@nathanpeever6500 Yes your correct then say ya get the 10% max roll salvage then the 6% saved in codex is updated to the 10%. I love the change I wish we could still upgrade our gear though like before along with Tempering.

Maybe something to add: At level 20 - 50 you can get a special Leveling Cache once at the alchemist. It'll make it easier to level fast as well.

Is there a way to reset an item you’ve tempered to get more chances on it? Cuz if not this is an absolutely horrible system haven’t even gotten into masterworking yet and already had countless incredible stat items that I try to temper and it gives me the same shit stat over and over every time and then I’m out of chances and can’t use it. For example got an amulet earlier with x2 greater affixes and one of the things I tried to imprint was movement speed yet every single time 5x in a row it gave me movement speed durring blood mist and I’m not even using blood mist so now I’m stuck with an incredible amulet with a completely useless temper on it

That's when you either drop the game cause you enjoyed what you enjoyed about it already, start a new character, or fight for leaderboard spots for gauntlet and stuff. Could also be a completionist and fill out all of the season journey objectives

When you reach 100 you will have mediocre gear, then you start spamming the pit, killing uber bosses etc to perfect your gear to make your character even stronger. Can also begin to collect gear for other specs for your class to try out.

so like how do you even get the iron wolf npc to show up to check/start earning rep? the game doesnt direct you in any way to do this...

You need to go fight at the helltides. You will collect quest items that trigger the Iron wolves seasonal content.

So opening the cashes from Wolfs if you wait tell world tier 3 and char level 35 everything opens sacred. I think if you wait for world tier 4 and level 70 you can get Ancestral. Not sure play HC not made it yet. LOL.

The other day I boosted my brother from lvl 1 to 60 in 1 hour. I ran him through the capstone dungeons and he was over lvl 30 going into torment. Then I ran him through a few t100 NMDs for about 40 minutes and just like that he's lvl 60. In a few hours of t100 NMDs and he'll be 100

Moxsy cooks while he sleeps

Another reason why helltides are bad past level 65 is because there’s almost no elite spawns = low experience. Profanes barely helps helltides due to that. If you’re solely trying to level asap stick to NMD Plus the glyph exp.

I haven’t played D4 since season 1. So, what is the difference by playing seasonal realm and eternal realm? Also, do we still lose our characters after season ends on season really? Kinda hard to play on season realms and lose all your gear and such when it ends.

A character in the seasonal realm will be able to benefit from all the seasonal boosts, as well as participate in seasonal events. Once a season ends, any seasonal character respective to the given season will be converted to the eternal realm. The only things that will not transfer from seasonal to eternal is anything that was season specific, like the vampiric upgrades from Season 2 or the Seneschal Construct from Season 3.

do helltides and only helltides because you want to level up the seasonal reputation , and then again go and do more helltides and just die doing HELLTIDES kinda boring but fastest way atm :/ also why is necro OP and other classes are meh , you can basically AFK kill everything with necro

Thank you for the video 😊 I still fail to see why should i care for The Pit? This is literally nightmare dungeons on timer. I understand the whole point of The Pit is pushing your gear via mastercrafting, but why should I care for that either? So I can go and do another 1000 duriel runs afterwards? All these new systems are great and improved the game, but we still have braindead end game content that I couldn't care less to bother with.
