00:00 - Engine startup
00:25 - 1st to 5th with normal acceleration
01:05 - 1st to 3rd with kickdown
01:36 - 2nd locked to 4th with kickdown
01:53 - 2nd slipped to 4th with kickdown
02:12 - 0-30 mph with kickdown
02:32 - 5th to 4th downshift from 30mph to 40mph
02:46 - 0-40mph with normal acceleration
03:12 - 0-40mph with kickdown
03:40 - 0-40mph with kickdown from 3rd upwards
04:06 - 5th to 4th downshift
04:28 - 0-40mph with kickdown on uphill gradient
04:59 - 0-56mph with kickdown
05:54 - 50-0mph axle noises
06:15 - kickdown in 1st and then normal acceleration up to 30mph

Finally I got to drive a ZF Ecomat Euro 4 Enviro 400, one of my top bucket list buses to drive, and boy did she not disappoint...
Having been purchased from GAL with a defective engine for peanuts, Plymouth City Bus acquired this vehicle and rebuilt the engine to the standard she is in now, and that standard is known as... oh what's it called again?... Oh yeah... F*CKING FAST!

Also Hong Kong have this Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 Bus too for example CTB Bus 7000-7059 Gearbox is ZF and NWFB Bus 3800-3859 Gearbox is Voith,Good Job this Bus Driver can do some Kickdown sound 💪🏽👍🏽
This bus uses the same engine as a Dodge/Ram truck

The amount of power she generates....... its a shame the only working Adl E400 Trident Are ex metroline Te's currently owned by Redline..... and they are horrendous 😢.

Could do with a 6th gear but i'm guessing the 6 Speed ZF doesn't fit.

I 100% agree with you here, I’m not sure why Trident’s never got the 6 speed, maybe you’re right, maybe they just couldn’t fit! These would be perfect with the 6HP ZF’s.

@@ThePlymouthRoadSurfer If Volvo managed to fit a 6 speed ZF in Eclipse Gemini's then i didn't see why ADL couldn't. The B7TL's engine is bigger too.
