Dainer dudes & the anonymous Dane! What a doozy! That video from start to finish had me feeling warm colourful fuzzy feelings in my internal regions. I'd say emotional roller-coaster but I never came down .... emotional chairlift seems more accurate. Shoutout to good dads, good kids, good friends, good buisness & full good woodwork. Onwards.

@dainermade tell me that's not your band name !! 🤣 seriously awesome work/ video/story telling/ fathering though my dude! 👊 x
Well I almost burst into tears at the end. My Dad was in modern terms a maker of everything and I loved his sheds and workshops. Sadly he passed away when I was thirty (before I got interesting in making things) and my kids will never know the man who I hold so dear and taught me indirectly so many lessons. I'm happy you and the boy get that precious time together!

Love it, deffo got something in my eyes at the end though, or sudden hayfever. ❤
Jesper you are a true legend, may your pallets finding always yield, may your tools always be sharp and your beers always cold 🍻
Oh man, I dream of the day my girls stay in the shed long enough to make something with me! You had me at the end too, holding back the tears whilst I drink my Saturday morning coffee! Jesper is a sweetheart ❤

I hope one day your girls will stay in the workshed to make a few things with you! When I was a little girl and in my teens I was often roped into helping my Grandpa with projects and I loved it as a little kid. But I didn't really appreciate those times in my teens as school was a hellscape for me and being buried alive by homework did not help, so I blew him off a lot. Then he passed away in my last year of highschool and I forever regret not spending more time with him. I'm taking up woodworking now in my thirties and I'm fumbling through it and wishing everyday that I had just spent more time with him. Not just to learn the craft but so I could have created more memories with him. Keep at it and don't give up, they'll hopefully come around! My suggestion would be to create a project idea involving maybe a current interest of theirs, it might help coax them to try. :)
OMG I'm nearly bawling. The bench looks AMAZING and I love that "someone" has been so kind as to keep that first project with your family. ❤
As an 80s child, I enjoyed the music as well as the project itself! Great work as always 👏! -Tony 🇺🇸 🌎
Any Father that has worked with his son will appreciate how special that time is. Great video Mark.
Great video! Love the homeschooling! We also do the same! And tell your son bench turned out beautiful! Enjoy the journey! And so happy you and Jesper are driving the woodworking channels to success on here the old channels are slowing down and are all making similar projects at the same time.
Thanks for that. The 80's action/Sci-fi flick music hilarious and punishing.
What a wonderful sight to behold. I love it when fathers or mothers, invite their child into their shop. I started at 10 in my grampa's cabinet/furniture shop he had in an old barn he converted. From the time i could walk I was always in the shop with him. As unusual as it is, I never whined, got inpatient, poked around, or touch anything I wasnt supposed to. I adored my papa and just wanted to be with him every visit. As i went from toddler to a 6 year old, he started explaining things to me like the tools and what each one did. The by 8, I was handling all of the hand tool's and by 10 i knew how each machine worked. The power tools that he did have were his father's, so they were sturdy and still running perfectly. Ive been in love with woodworking for the past 50 years. When i retired at 50 , i gifted myself a shop so i wasn't in the smaller than a 1 car garage, garage. Great job on the bench!

Just found your channel and am already in love with it! The beautiful pieces that you make from "throw away" pallet wood is wonderful, but seeing you and your son working together, and knowing that you are making this part of his school curriculum, warms my heart to no end. You are a wonderful craftsman but a magnificent dad raising a son that will be a great man.

So, I shed a little tear at the end (don't judge me). One of your best videos, mate. And the bench your son made is absolutely awesome. Great vid, keep it up. Cheers. Don't forget about October 28. 👍🍺🍺
Full business human 😂🤣😅👌🏽
That timber, Hardious Vacarious, is probably the best woodworking species around.
Looks like the young chipmunk really got into it. Nice to see. Nice projects too. Thanks for sharing.
Incredible. My late dad and I did all sorts of building together and can't wait until I can get my kids involved. They are too young at the moment. #prouddad
Can’t begin to tell you what an awesome human you are Mark. Amongst the literally 100’s of YT videos I watch daily, I am always most anxious to see new content from you. I appreciate your talent, your humanity, your sense of humor, and your view on life. Thanks for always inspiring me and sharing yourself with us…
Aw! Dainsey & Jesper, you gave me all the feels! Congratulations on a great vid, two great projects, and beautiful family/team work.
Man, your video ending as it did hit me very deep in the feels... my dad passed at 59. I'd always imagined us sitting down talking about all the crazy stupid things we did apart and together. Never happened. So any of you reading this, be sure you take the time for family while you have the time to take. Excellent person buying that bench, just excellent. Give him our best..
I loved this video mate. I love watching all your videos but this one was a bit special. 👍
I have been watching your channel from fairly early on. I am envious that you get to make such great content with your son. I am hopeful that my son and daughter will spend some time with me in my little shop. We'll done to the not so secret purchaser.
And then my heart went bang. 😊❤👍👍👍
Love your work Mark, and the young bloke did a top job!!
Jesper is ok no matter what everyone else says about him (lol). Great job on both projects. I'm doing the same homeschool class with my son this year. Would love to see a vid on your "shop class" subject (tips, projects, subjects/curriculum etc) Thank you for sharing. Excellent vid (as usual)
Love what you do and it's so great to see you and your son doing projects together.
It`s refreshing to see your son work along side you. He has a great chance at woodworking as you teach him your tip`s and trick`s of the trade. Your a excellent father with a great chance of making your son a great woodworker. Many dad`s don`t have this opportunity to have there son`s or daughter`s work along side them. This is one of my favorite video`s and Thank you for sharing it with us. God Bless and d`day mate.👍👍👍👍
I absolutely love the 80s music 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵
Damn, hit me right in the feels. Awesome video. I need to go and make something with my mini business human now!
So glad to see you and your son working together. 🤘🔥 The bench looks amazing! Big fan of yours from good ol’ Neenah, Wisconsin USA! 🤘🔥
That made my heart smile 😊! Such a great gift to teach your son your trade Mark. I’m sure he loves working with you just as much as you enjoy having him in your shop and working with him. I love the bench he made! It’s beautiful!!! Loved your table with the secret drawer. Love the chunky pallet wood!!
All in the hips mate. Don’t thrust too far or you could circumcise yourself 😂😂😂
That was awesome, great to see you making money and spending time with your son, and that ending made me smile.
Mark, I love your videos. You’ve inspired me to see pallets as awesome reservoirs of potential. As it happens, I follow Jesper as well. I’m not surprised. You’re two peas from the same pod… in a 9,000 mile. sort of way. Dudes, you both inspire me (and thanks for sharing quality time with your son. Worth more than anything you create).

Ripper video Mark. I think I'm going to have to restart my hallway table. I'm not happy with the one I'm doing now. I'll see how I go. Harley did a great job on his project. I bet you're proud of the young bloke. Anyway, keep up the good work. All the best.
Nice gesture Jesper, touching. 👍👍
This had my wife and I in tears. Such a kind gesture. Love the fact that you guys can spend time together teaching something you love !!
I have to say, I REALLY like Harley's bench. I think I may try something similar. Great to see him taking an interest in woodworking. Kudos to you Mark!
Hey Mark thanks for sharing these projects, such a great experience together. Aside the nice build these are long lasting memories that Harley will tell to his children one day. I became a dad for first time not long ago at 45 she is one and a half years old and enjoys using the watering can when we go gardening (also stealing the tomatoes haha). And even being in my situation I'm speechless with the big heart of Jesper, I wonder if he would show it.
passing that check square knowledge along to the next generation!

Great video with the perfect ending - good things happen to good people!
I keep trying to bring the kids into the shop with me, they sometimes come along for small parts of a project here and there, incredibly fun for me but doesn't happen often enough. 🙂 Great vid Marky Mark, Harley Davidson, and the Great Dane 👍
Great video Mark, both bench looked great. It’s great seeing a father and son work together. My 3 year old has started coming down to the shed with me and wanting to get involved. He looks great in all his ppe. Lol. Keep up the good work 👍
What a wonderful think to have happen! This reminded me of me and my Dad working together.
AWESOME video. Love the full length with you and your son. I have 2 daughters. They both loved to watch me and help work on cars and stuff. My daughter could get a 9/16 or a 7/8 or what ever i needed. By the time she was 7. I remember her saying your going to need this & that. The memories are awesome. And we love the Hall Table where it sits under a photo taken at Yellow Waters Kakado. To watch the work that went into our table was amazing and makes us appreciate our table even more. PS: We don't our keys in the secret draw. HA

Lovely story - Jesper you big softy

Awesome, love your work Mark.
To a fellow pallet destroyer. One particular pallet was giving me long serrated nail grief. I spotted my small trolley jack covered in dust. It didn't fit inside the pallet***** I removed the front wheels. It still didn't fit. Next I removed the pivoting foot thingy......bingo ..hydraulic pallet destruction device. No pallet is safe now.😊😊
Chamfer and Fingers in the one sentence. Talking me lingo! ;) Bring on Dainer & Co. PS - Im not crying it's the sawdust.
As always mate great work. Keep it up punter!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an episode mate! That's awesome! 🤙 There really some amazing people in the world!
LOL, you crack me up, love your channel. You've single-handedly inspired me to start using pallet wood as a solution for my problem with woodworking, the cost of wood. Thanks for what you do and your time! Also, thanks for being a good dad, there's a lot of sh*tty ones in this world and it's nice to see someone teaching a skill to their kid, instead of letting them drown in electronics devices and not know how to do anything useful. Also, all my mistakes are going to be called 'dodgies' now.
I can only hope my daughter follows the same as your son. It bought a smile and a tear to my face watching this project. My daughter is schooled through distant ed so hopefully the chance will arise. Well done Dainsy and Dainsy Jnr you have inspired again
