Yes! but i miss the option of the "autorotate", i mean, maybe lumion needs to detect the component orientation (axis or something) so your lights can rotate as the components do... anyway it mades lighting easier. Congrats for your videos!! PD: That .DAE import and align, also helps you when your model is too big, i mean, Lumion has a cap of polygons (dont know if you talked about this in other video). For example, if you have, lets say, 30 apartaments (full of curtains, sofas, beds, sheets... etc) its easier to import objects in diferent layers/imports as you did with your lights or clean the model, hiding what you will not render.

Thank you for this wonderful tip. Actually I was looking for a trick to work on Revit lights. This tip helped me a lot. Just for info, I Isolated my lighting fixtures in Revit 3D view and exported them in .dae file by each category and opened them in lumion and aligned them as guided by you in this tutorial. Thank you once again. :)

Hello I have many plaza and street lights each with multiple lamps like a modern outdoors chandelier. They are all three groups of components. When you say light in SketchUP do I actually have to place a light into each housing of the wall and downlights? Do I understand that right it's NOT only the housing that represents the Sketchup light I need to place a bulb in it? AND does it matter which type of light I chose in SketchUP will it affect that in the Lumion? Thanks for your lessons as always great and thumbs up and subscribed. An autodidact pensioner here.

Yes, the video is very helpful but the what happens if there is a multiple group on a single node, it actually creates hundreds of lights in one node alone.
