52 WEEK GUITAR PLAYER CLOSES TOMORROW! There are less than 36 hours left to join 52WGP before I close enrollment again for a few months. I’ll be closing the program again by end of day on Friday March 31st so we can officially start the April cohort. The program only resumed in mid-March. Before that it was closed since January. So when I say I’m closing the program again, I mean it. So if you’re an: 1. Adult male that plays at an intermediate level 2. Guitar used to be a big part of their life 3. Improve their knowledge of the fretboard, improv, compositional skill 4. Serious 5. Want cut and paste practice routines that were designed by a professional and are proven to work. You’ve come to the right place dammit. There are currently over 600 guitar players in our community who share many of these traits. If you’re a beginner, you’d probably find this program quite fast paced and challenging. You’re gonna make so much progress here that all your friends will get PISSED OFF but not even mad. Because we offer 1. This program offers a highly structured 170+ lesson curriculum. 2. Lessons come with a built in practice routine that will tell you exactly what to do step by step as well as WHY you're doing it AND when to move on to the next. 3. A Facebook group to share progress videos and get professional feedback. 4. Group Zoom coaching calls 3x/week to have your questions answered and get your playing roasted. 5. A new backing track shared every week for you to improvise over. 6. Accountability - we do this by making you share a progress video every week for 52 weeks in a row. If you fail to post, I personally call you out and you fail. 7. The best and most fun place to learn guitar on the internet 8. Very good looking instructors! Who I do not work with: a. Uncertain people b. Busy annoying high school students c. Anyone looking for an easy route to be good d. Information gatherers that never take action e. People only looking to learn parts of songs If you’re interested: Step 1: Visit this link and watch the video on the page: brandondeon.com/52wgp-video Step 2: Click the button below the video. Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select a pricing plan. Enrollment will close March 31 at 11:59pm OR once 90 students sign up (whichever comes first). Get structure, practice routines, feedback, live interaction with pros, accountability, weekly backing tracks, and community > brandondeon.com/52wgp-video Okay, bye. - Brandon

Hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, and taps are techniques collectively referred to as "slurring." Whereas "legato" refers to the sound produced. More to the point, slurring can produce a staccato sound, and picking/sweeping can produce a legato sound. It's all in the articulation.

He's an internet guitar teacher bud. 90% of what they say or claim is major league BS. They're trying to sell a product and they know only 1-2% of people that pick up a guitar is willing to sit down a d practice Legato for 4 years to develop the necessary strength and accuracy it takes to develop a good Legato technique especially with a solid pinky finger. Everyone else wants God like technique and chops in 6 months and actually believe its possible so telling them the truth = no new sucker students. But my favorite number 1 Internet Guitar Teacher bullshit claim is the one where they say. "It doesnt take strength to play guitar, you needz to do the relaxingzzz". 🤣 Yes, you indeed should try and relax, but good look getting the required strength and accuracy by relaxing. The human body just doesn't work that way. My second favorite bullshit line is, "you have to play fast to get fast". I bet Chinese classical musicians get a kick out of that with their robotic, technique they all possesses via painfully slow, mistake free practice. Practicing fast only guarantees one single thing, you'll be making more mistakes.

Doing this lick on acoustic will strengthen your left hand more than doing this lesson on a Tele because the action and string gauges are usually higher on acoustic. Playing acoustic in general is more difficult because it requires more hand strength. Nylon string classical might be a good alternative from which to start for building hand strength.

Well acoustic can be the flashiest when you play it right billy strings or tommy Manuel can put shred just about anyone yeah I know there other but they were who came to mind first. When I was younger I never touchy my acoustics but nowadays it’s really all I play there something about the simplicity of just you an a guitar that makes it so beautiful you have nothing to hide behind or mask your playing when you mess up it noticeable l. Kinda like how playing slow is harder than fast not playing slow to learn a part but when you play part that have silent notes an space when you hit a wrong note it takes so long for the next to come that it just screams f up lol we’re playing fast it over an your on to next a lot of time ppl don’t even realize u hit a wrong note
