I'm 50 new but in my 20s I had a sleekcraft with a 175 Yamaha on it. I loved that boat but my buddies (two) had Hydrosreams and they used to be much faster then i was lol. My boat looked better though 😂 lol. Love it you guys look like you're having fun!! Stay safe and keep them clean

105 in a 15 foot viper......very nice. We have a black all composite 2010 V-King with stringers in the back ten inches wide that go from the top of the transom to the floor. An absolute mint Vector with a very unique original gel coat. We also have a bruiser colored V-King YT. There all in the 91-95 mph range.

Auma Kua Thanks i love the water being in it, on it, or flying across the top of it! Hydrostreams are for men. I was coming down the Connecticut river and a guy with a carbon fiber Mirage hit a cabin cruiser wake. He had his two boys with him probably 8 and 11. I pulled them out of the water and another boat got him. The only thing you could see was the two pickle forks bobbing up and down out of the water.

Auma Kua That's awesome lmao! Do you have a yt? or a v? I love Valero' s My buddy cliff has a white one and it's all factory gel coat it's all white then has the dark navy into grey color scheme. He runs a punched out 280 with a cle and his best is 112 MPH on livorsi gps.

Technically a YT but my sponsons are high and not factory. My mechanic bro and I Think this hull was printed as a one off, somewhere between aN XT and a YT. I'm red and black with color changing LEDs under my rub rail. It looks like a space ship. Nasty as hell at high speed

Not really, I've got some big ass cabin Cruiser wakes in my STV at speed, just trimmed up a tad and kept the gas pedal down.

Id have to see it on a GPS to believe it. Thats a Viper not a Venom (theyre capable of 120+ with an XS300) my Viking had a Black Max 200 with 180 lbs of cranking pressure, custom TDR reeds, Diamond Marine 15 inch mid section, and was cranking out 240 hp it ran 94 mph on a GPS. If thats one of those water force speedos then youre doing about 15 - 20% lower meaning 80 - 85 mph which is more realistic. Like i said, id have to see it on a GPS to believe it.

I used to have a laser ltv tunnel 19 ft with a custom dick odea merc 275 carbureted never got it over 95 wow

Yeah those 3.4 liter big block Merc's didn't like to stay together if you spun them over 6k rpm. Which would be a huge limiting factor in top speed. Also, Laser LTV is 17' and change, the Laser 380 Ray pad-vee hull boat was 19'.. Either way, if set up right and with the right prop, the LTV is capable of some seriously high speeds, like 130's on one LTV I know of. But over 100mph they are SERIOUSLY flighty and extreme caution should be used when running that fast in one..
