I'd hate for Hasbro to release figures based on those designs. My wallet wouldn't be able to take it.

my biggest hope is this Zabu BAF wave means an Inhumans Lockjaw BAF wave is on the way

The amazing artist Esad Ribic used this classic costume in his and Kieron Gillen's 2021 Eternals run. It's a pretty good read.

@@agiammarco94Depending on the size you might be able to just slap the gear from the Masterverse figure onto the Ka-Zar body and have yourself a significantly better He-Man than what Mattel has

I thought that knife tease at the end was for Shanna, but then you mentioned how big it was and yeah it's definitely for Skaar.

I believe Black Winter Thor is from when he becomes "Thor, Herald of Galactus" . When fighting the Black Winter, BW shows him himself as Thor(In this BW Form) and explains the reason it is here. I might be wrong since its been a while, but its a great story and it's worth reading if you havent already.

Same here but this is how marvel forces you to purchase their figures and merchandise. I believe it is cool that Cable is in his marvel vs capcom 2 costume. However, out of the BAF set; I am only interested in Kazar! I dont care about the rest of the figures and they really do not interest me! I am a bit disappointed with the BAF characters. However, them blue wolverine and spiderman fantastic 4 2 packs look amazing and the baron zemo and Zola. Gotta pickem up!

Nick Fury Jr. is the Nick Fury you see in all of the modern Marvel movies shows and comics, The old 1960's white Nick Fury (Nick Fury Sr.) is the father of modern day "Sam Jackson" Nick Fury (Nick Fury Jr.) but most of the time they leave the Jr. part off of his name

I wouldn't be surprised if there's an extra classic Nick head and army builder heads for the other bodies, this set seems prime for that. Especially since the Shield 2-pack basically came and went in an instant

I would buy the classic Fury. The one offered is a gard pass. I only collect classic, i.e. pre 90s.

Cable did have a spear in the comics later on when he had this look. As I recall, this look started with Ian Churchill and Jeph Loeb's run, continued into Ladronn's run (with the spear), and lasted somewhere into the Deadpool/Cable team-up comic.

Although I wish the Kazar and Zabu were a two pack Still looks good.

MVC2 Cable is the definitely the highlight for me, despite the belt not actually connecting to the harness.

So we now have Ikaris and Sersi(-ish). Time to start ribbing Veebs about the team finishing the Eternals before the Inhumans 😄

MvC2 cable is a win for me Ka-zar is weirdly enough a perfect custom for he-man Wolfsbane highly needed

Glad to see there's not many things I'll be after here. Cable is the only must have for me. Zabu and the Daredevil/Hydro-Man two pack would be great, also. Mostly because I missed out on that new DD from the three pack.

That may be one of the coolest Build a figures i have ever seen also half way there for a Marvel Legends He man with Ka Zar.

Hopefully a year down the road they'll re-release Ka-Zar & Zabu in a 3 pack with Shanna. As it stands, there's not enough here for me to get the entire wave.

First, they gave us Wonder Woman, and now they're giving us He-Man!

When they revealed Ka-zar Robo was the first person I thought of

For me Cable, Carnage, Black Winter and Ikaris are the buys. Some googling shows that the Black Winter is a good reuse as that entity does take that form in that comic run.

Definitely wanting Cable & Ka-Zar. I think you're pronouncing Ka-Zar's name correct. Cable works well for my Marvel vs Capcom collection & would go great with the Jada figures.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the correct pronunciation. That's how they said it in the cartoon and I vaguely remember comics occasionally telling you how things are supposed to be pronounced.

I am squarely in team “Kay-Zarr” territory! The Zabu wave is a largely great scattershot of Marvel characters. Not sure what I’ll do with Dark Thor. But I WILL have that cat completed. Thanks for the rundown, Robo!

I just wish they'd give us a new Crimson Dynamo figure- his big bulky suit from the new Winter Guard run is simply too amazing not to make! Especially now Red Widow getting a brand new figure!!

The only thing I could think of with that Ikaris is maybe just a rework of the upper torso for graviton?

Kazar: “By the power of Greyskull”. That alone makes me want that figure. Who doesn’t want a Marvel Legends He-Man in their collection?

For anyone who already got the OG carnage and want more accessories, get the KO revoltech carnage, the paint matches and at least in my case the joints also fit perfectly

Scar was my immediate thought for the tease. That handle is thick and they like using that hulk body. I was happily surprised for everyone that got a chance to grab the Juggernaut and Colossus Re-release. Great set.

It was a solid stream packed with good stuff, but for me, Marvel vs Capcom 2 Cable was the winner. Slightly disappointing he doesnt come with his Viper Cannon and scimitar, but still a win.

Cable is a mustt buy for, pinned arm doesn't bother me much. Would love to have Ka-Zar, but those forearm non functioning cuts from the Vulcan buck bothers me.

Ive been wishing for a Revoltech Cable reissue for my MvC collection, but this Cable will do great, though I wish he came with a BFG appropriate for hyper viper beam. I had always imagined a retooled Deathlok body for Cable so I'll be very curious to see what hes like in hand. Finally an animated Morbius, and Strange is a nice treat. Zemo and Zola, Carnage, Shield 3 Pack. Theres more legends in this reveal that I want than legends Ive gotten in recent memory.

Guys I hope we can get Nightcrawler in his blue and yellow outfit 💯🙏

There were two Venom waves with one movie Venom figure. And if it's Spider-Man it's MCU adjacent. The rest, they lean away. Morbius? Madam Webb?

Super excited for MVC Cable. Been wanting him for years. Also, nice Hanna-Barbera shirt!

Wolfsbane sculpt gives me hope for a new Jack Russell

They do new sculpting for the oddest figures. Vision is a main Avenger character, but he gets pained on details while Ikarus gets unique boots and accessories... oh, mein Gott Wolfsbane, we're completing the team, but in those yellows look off and in different poses the figure is giving a "mess of pottage" but I'm still grateful.

If they tease this hard with Ka-zar and Zabu but don't deliver a decent Shanna, I'm gonna shed some serious tears! Also, they nailed that Icarus sculpt, but the colors seem a little too drab. Definitely calling out for a repaint with some more saturated tones to bring out that awesome Kirby zing!

Honestly, pretty cool reveals. Not gonna even try to grab everything, but I think I've gotta get that Shield 3 pack (even if just to upgrade my Spinneret). The retro cardback Spider-Man stuff is my jam, and I think I just need that Zabu in my life.

You say “Ka-Zar”, I say Conan…with a little paint.

I see a great potential for a Tarzan figure. Rictor head swap and maybe Namor feet (minus the wings).

Now I need them to make a blue and black fantastic four iron man from what if

I forget why but GR and Hulk were somehow unavailable when Franklin summoned them during that story

Kids in California said it like Kay zhar. However you say it it's gonna be an awesome figure! ✌️☮️

And I think the Icarus, I think they did a new comic run of the eternals with that specific hairstyle with a kinda classic costume. I think Alex Ross drew the cover?

Hopefully we get an updated Shanna figure because I'm not interested in paying almost $300 for that SDCC exclusive 3-pack.

The comic waves are what’s keeping ML alive for me. Sorry MCU figures, but I absolutely love the comic line ❤

First time in a while going be pre-ordering quite a few Legends. Retro carded Prowler and Carnage, Zemo and Zola 2pk, Shield 3pk, and then Ka-Zar, Wolfsbane, and Ikaris for sure. Maybe Cable but not sure then the remaining Zabu pieces I'll get on Ebay. As long as I get them for 25 or less I'll be happy with that.

I want ALL of those. :)

Shield pack and Zabu wave are definite for me. I always sell the figures I don't want from BAF waves on ebay for £10😂 Also Kay-Zar, it was pronounced that way in the cartoon so you're right😊

Yes. I think it said it was pronounced that way in the comics too. But it's been decades since I read them.

Zola was originally from the 2012-2013 marvel legends build a figure with I believe wrecking crew, can't remember the characters. Also the Terrax and rocket racoon BAF were apart of that series!

In his first appearance we were informed it’s pronounced “KAY-zar,” so you’re in the clear. On the subject of names, it seems like you’re avoiding saying “Jack Kirby.” It’s okay to say his name- after all, he created 3 of the characters in this wave (5 if you want to nitpick.) 🎉

I wish Kazar had more of a tan...he'd make a good Conan custom...just paint his hair black.

At least with his release it's not too far away for a Conan custom, savage avengers etc... and maybe with the nekkid sculpt, pinless, maybe we can have a new NAMOR? Either his early 70s costume change or the classic with a better snarling head sculpt?

Cable is a must for me, and Ka'zar will make a great He-Man 😉

Mine is fantastic 4 ironman, Spiderman, hulk, wolverine, and Bruce banner.

I was going to use Ikaris for a Graviton custom in part cause the multiple circles, etc., but I may wait because that may be someone who they could use those parts for! So much to get from these reveals. I don't know much about Red Widow either but I need to complete BAF, she looks good, and kinda could be enemy for BW, so eh, why not? Lol.

That Ka-zar figure would make a great customization for Marvels Arkon the magnificent.

That THREE PACK, might have to get two I guess I'll have 2 Arnim Zolas now. I hope there's a Nick Fury Sr. head in there too, cause that will tip the scale on getting two cause I was able to snag a army builder way back.

How cool would have a lenticular screen been for Zola? That would have been an instant buy

Kinda tempted for Ikaris, but man, I have to wonder if they'll give us another release of animated Spider-Man. I have him, but it seems mean to start that collection so long after SPIDEY was available, Venom even more so. Think they might do a Chameleon/Nick Fury pack if I was gonna bet on anything.

Nick Fury Jr is the Sam Jackson looking Nick Fury. Nick Fury Sr. (Jr.’s true father which is explained in the comics 🙄) is the classic OG comic Nick Fury by Jack Kirby & Stan Lee (once portrayed by David Hasselhoff aka “The Hoff” in the movie “Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD”). I see you may have a few questions now. 😂 Instead maybe we should expect a Nick Fury Sr head packed in with it? If you notice the figure has a blue cloth neck. 🤫 maybe there will be jet packs too like the ToyBiz figure? Let’s hope 🤞

The original Zola BAF was in 2012... The assortment being a mix of Avengers, Eternals, and X-Men is kinda throwing me for a loop. Don't think we've had that since the time of that Zola BAF. Some of the pics of Cable have me worried the paint on the upper thighs wont match. Only time well tell I suppose

Fun Fact: Kazar was actually Marvels very first character introduced in 1936 and he originally was a rip off of Tarzan! It is funny to me when Marvel rips off a character from another company or design; the marvel version always becomes more popular!

I find it crazy they didn’t mention on the stream that the colossus juggernaut 2-pack was also reissued for pre order

Marvel legends have a kickass wonder woman and now he-man.

I've been saying "Kay Zar" for 45 years, not stopping now.

As a Marvel VS Capcom fan I'm very happy to see the new Cable. I'm excited to have the Wolfsbane, but I am not a fan of these recent female head sculpts. The heads and eyes are tiny. I also don't like the expressions.

Hydroman's Large water fists from the Molten Man BAF wave will take serious modding to fit the Animated 2 pack version. The arm slots don't match. That's why it was also super annoying if you wanted to try to give the Molten man version regular arms.

There’s not a lot coming out in theaters or on Disney+ for Marvel right now. That traditionally dictates even which comic figures you see. I’m sure that’s why we’re getting some atypical variety.

Actually I am kind of digging these new release figures and love them. Especially the Dr. Strange ( love the colors). The fantastic 4 spiderman and wolverine ( blue looks sweet). I personally would love to see spiderman and wolverine in both yellow color and plain purple color. Then the Kazar figure! Yes! I personally don’t care for the daredevil and hydro man. I like the daredevil from the 3 pack figure set with bullseye, elektra and daredevil. ( That pack is good enough for me)

Thanks Robo! Maybe we can finally get a Feral. Or at the very least make one now.

I love most of this wave and Zabu seals the deal for me. That Iron Man will be a hard pass though. I'm looking forward to seeing what the ML team offers this year since there's very little coming from the MCU in 2024 besides Deadpool. They're gonna have to lean hard on comics and/or past MCU. I'm hoping it's mostly comics.

That Icarus is beautiful man they did King Kirby proud it’s a shame he’s not gonna see it or maybe it’s good he doesn’t since they never compensated him for his work oh he got a pay check but they never paid him any residuals for his contributions.

I mentioned Cable needing his psi-spear (Psimitar?) elsewhere, too. He looks like the ...not JMS, was it Jeph Loeb-? run with Irene Merryweather, and crossed over with X-Man. Black Winter could sub in as Venomized Thor or maybe even Perun, to go with Red Widow?? Zabu now has me thinking we need ML scale/style Fred and Barney! (& Betty & Wilma and Pebbles & Bam-Bamm!) (Looks at He-Man and DCUC Kamandi....) Rahne - so many Lornas were sacrificed for custom Rahnes! Dare I hope we see this team re-released as a 6pk? (Havok, Lorna, Rahne, Madrox, Guido, and either Val or Pietro. or Samson??) Ikaris - I can't believe you forgot we're also getting SERSI in the Black Knight 2pk! Now we just need Makkari to go with Quasar... Dr. Strange - I only like the cape, so I hope they find a way to reuse it in the future? F4 Spidey+Logan - I was not sure at first if this was a 2pk or 4pk with Frank & Val. Now I expect them to release these two with "proper" (4) symbols with Ketch and Fixit! Walmart exclusives? Somebody want to TELL Walmart they HAVE these?? Y'all are in Arkanzaz, Robo.... Target ain't much better, as they don't carry full waves, plus collectors have begun to wait for clearance. Falcon needs his BNW/NWO blue shoulders, tho. TBH, I still haven't seen a full Ch'od wave (which Cyke and Emma went to Planet Overstock, here), nevermind ANY Retro-X, Mindless One, or Void waves. Barely any Civil War boxed re-issues. I know I'm forgetting at least one wave?

They did the whole Squadron Supreme in a year, and they're leaking the Eternals and Inhumans slow enough that they probably won't finish them. It's a jerk move by them, but they did wait like 6 years to give us Wolfsbane.

So the black ones are Thor is from one of the better Thor comics I recommend if anybody hasn't read it you should and Superior iron Man is from an iron Man basically becomes a god

Usually no set is tempting enough to get a full wave. Even the last set with the Mindless One. But Sabu makes one second guess

That Ikarus and Cable are great. Zabu and Kazar would be a great 2 pack. But you know how it goes. If I get 2 parts of a figure, guessing I'm all in. I will say, it would be great to see team releases that include the whole team and the BAF is the large team member.

I'm not familiar with Red Widow either. At first glance I actually thought she was Nemesis from classic _Alpha Flight._ Perhaps with some customization, she could be?
