Nice vid mate! First time Ive seen someone riding one of these that can actually ride!!! Have you had any problems with the CYC? I mostly just see videos of people having problems. You were really ripping on that thing, that was great!!

YOOOOOO That is crazy! I've been hunting for a mondraker summum to do this exact setup but with the stealth gen 3. I'm glad to see someone put that battery in that frame I wanted to know how it would look and fit. Unfortunately I just can't find one my size on the used market and don't have the budget for a new one. Maybe one will come along!

Chains and cassettes are cheap and easy to fix. Just have extras on hand.

Can you ride like this everyday without destroying the bike and motor. I run at 4.5kw and for my feeling more power would destroy the bike and the motor in the longterm. For this high power stuff i use my surron but this bike might be even faster than my stock sur ron

I'm guessing samsung 40T in a 20S3P as that'll give you 105 continuous amps, or maybe molicel p42a for 90 continuous amps.

Hi I build the battery myself, I can't remember exact price but all in all includes spot welder and nickle strip and bms I would say around £500

I’d like to know the right bike to purchase for battery frame space I just built a QS 138 v3 kx 100 but I’m bout to sell it and I’m gonna buy a CYC kit just want to know the right bike or how to get started on this type of build ur shit rocks man

What chain and gears are you using? I have been looking at going single speed and BMX chain because anything over 3KW is just chewing up the gearset. Had to really lower the bottom end torque to stop it skipping constantly when trying to get any drive out of corners or from standing. Any tips?

I had loads of problems with chains dureallar and cassette in the beginning but now I found the right set up that won't destroy my chain and cassette I'm currently using cheap chain and cassette believe it or not but the trick here are to use good strong dureallar with clutch and chain tensioner I will do a follow up video soon and go through everything on this bike

@@Jack77169 Hi there, would a shimano xt deore derailleur with a clutch work fine with a 72v Cyc x1 pro gen 3 build in your opinion ? I see people everywhere complaining about that high of wattage snapping chains off and destroying casettes. Will that derailleur save me from that hastle ? My casette is shimano slx 11 speed. Also, can I ask you what throttle you're using ? Looks like a domino throttle.

Hi , in the beginning I had alot of problems with the chains and dureallar and cassette I have found the right set up and now I have zero problem I can ride as hard as I want, I will do follow up video soon about my drive train

I’ve already build myself another battery, watch my latest video

Just put the gen4 on my old iron horse sgs downhill bike last night!, upgraded from bafang with bac855. Didn't realize how jenky the bbshd is until I put the cyc on. the Bac 855 with bafang would cut out all the time. Like if I was going to the store which is a 1/2 mile away I would have to reboot the 855 6 times in a one mile stretch. The cyc can do full throttle and then let off completely and still doesn't cut out. I fucking love this motor! I'm using the stock x12 controller with dual batteries so I'm only getting peaks of 6000 watts. Even on the best day my bafang would only pull 2800.

How did you get 7200w out of the BAC2000? I ended up getting a nucular kit because I was under the impression you can't tune a BAC unless you buy straight from ASI

You can download cyc motor app for asi bac and get login from cyc. It's not that great because it only work on old phone. But you can play around power and setting

I like the build but it's a shame you needed to lie about it's power output being 7200W. The motor is limited to 5000W and throughout the video it will never peak above 4996W on the display.

He's actually right, He's not using the X6, or the x12. He's using the old ASI BAC2000 Controller. , He is. also using the Gen2 motor , I have a friend that have the same setup up. I'm on his bike. And he is capable of doing 7000W

it aint 7200w bro. CYC X1 pro gen2 wont generate so much, 5000w is generated in CYC X1 Gen4 and it was released recently, btw your battery isnt generating so much power

What are you talking about? I custom made this battery myself it’s 72v with 100amps bms 72x100 = 7200w In this video I use bac2000 and I turn the power up to 7200w And for the gen 4 it actually pulll well over 6000w

That's not 7200 watts with that set up 😂😂😂😂😂😂
