@@mikeshannon327 So I made a couple of calls (texts) to an ex co-worker and he gave me an immediate answer. I just want to preface, please take this with a grain of salt bc I don't know how he'd know this, but he said that he didn't know backing plate to backing plate but that at that time the car had a 50 inch axle to axle width and that it wasn't a g-body housing, it was just a 9" housing out of another racecar. I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in that, he's one of those guys that always has an answer for questions but he does know a lot about g-bodies?!? Edit: aaand he already changed his answer to 52" axle to axle..lol
