Fast action fly fishing with balanced flies under an indicator.

Спорт

I stopped at a favorite lake on my way home from a trip. I took my float tube out for a few hours and experienced some of the fastest action of my life on a fly rod for tigers and rainbows. I was using balanced leeches, scuds and hares ears under an indicator. I had a blast watching that indicator go down over and over again. Thanks for tagging along on another episode of Adventure time 👍.

It was fun. They were on the mood for micro leeches.

Dude.. that was nonstop action it seemed like. That fallen tree was a magnet... nice double up... balanced seems like the secret weapon. Lots of fun... I gotta find a tiger place like that to take my son... those and brookies are so cool looking... fun video again!

It was super fun. Every once in a while, a good quantity day is nice even if you aren't seeing many big fish.

I'm confused ... when was this trip? No signs of ice or snow so it must have been last year sometime (probably fall with the golden leaves)? (It seems like your videos are usually posted a few days after they are made.) As always, thank you so much for letting us tag along on your adventures!

This was back in the fall. By the end of the season I end up being a couple months behind on my videos. I post the winter videos faster because it helps people know when to hit certain lakes

Hey Howler, what are the gloves you are sporting in your vids? I need to update my hand ware this coming season, so I'm looking at options- thanks!

I bought them from Amazon. They no longer have them unfortunately. They are basically just light weight sun gloves made out of a synthetic spandex like material.
