I really enjoyed the movie, I was very skeptical about it but it exceeded my expectations. I do know a lot of people are complaining on the fact that she didn't kill the dalmatians or didn't seem interested enough in the fur, but at the same time I understand how that could cause so much controversy, especially now with SO many companies, groups fighting against animal cruelty.

Yeah that’s why I don’t understand why people keeps on complaining about it. Of course Disney would avoid any big controversies it produces mostly kid shows for Pete’s sake. And the movie is not bad at all. I just wish they showed how cruella fell in love with COATS since the cruella we all know is so obsessed with animal coats.

Cruella has yet to turn full on villain at least not in this movie according to those who have seen it already and the film is setting up for the eventual sequel which will no doubt introduce her husband and explain what finally drove her over the edge. If the sequel remains true to Disney canon with the Descendants franchise which starred the children of Disney villains then we may meet her son Carlos as well. A lot more story is yet to come with Cruella DeVil.

Fun fact: one of the screenwriters for Devil Wears Prada was also one for this movie!

The producer said he wanted to change a few things about Cruella, and I loved the fact that she has a dog and she didn't try to kill the Dalmatians because in the end she gets them. I give a 10 for the movie!!! This new Cruella reimagination is great

tbf she did say that she was always cruella and that her mom told her to hide it so she was simply estella for so long. hence the sudden personality change and why she started treating her friends like that edit: ALSO the killing herself at the end I think was the final switch in her head. She became cruella, there was no more estella to change back to

I loved the movie, it's great, the producer said he wanted to do something a little different with Cruella, Disney allowed it and presto, the result is great. I loved this new Cruella!!!

When she brought up Flynn rider, that's exactly what I said! I was like is this going to be like tangled or something? Great minds think alike lol

I personally loved the storyline. Does it deviate from the cartoon? yes, but so did Maleficient, and no one got angry. The plot twists are magnificently foreshadowed and delivered, it has a satisfying ending, it's inspiring, teaches a few lessons on emotional intelligence ... * Chef kiss *

ah, no, what they do with maleficient doesnt have a name, they take one of the most iconic and sadistic villain of disney and ruin her because "tHe PowHer Of LOooVe" afortunatly here maybe the dalmatians didnt die but cruella is still cruella

The way I knew that you’r going to watch this, cause it has amazing plot, is a recreation of the old movies and the cartoon, and the most important part, it is very focused on fashion which I am sure you like.

It really was a very different take on the story and I loved what they did with the fashion, set design and camera work! Very visually pleasing and the soundtrack was sooo good omg

I loved the themed makeup are you mad 😍🔥 idk why u thought it didn’t work out!! And yess the edits in this were so good that typing edit was sick! This film surprised me it kinda felt like Joker when they explained their life story 😭❤️

The dalmatian coat was EASILY the best look they gave her. I was so in awe and then they showed she didn’t kill them and i get why but damn that would add such a layer to her anti hero level and eventual switch to villain.

Watched this movie on Saturday and it was AMAZING

I understand making an origin for a villain but she was not a villain… the way this movie ends make the story of 101 Dalmatians impossible, whereas Maleficent had the original story play out and only gave background and changed the ending in a refreshing way. The fashion was amazing but if we wanted to see pretty clothes we could put on project runway..

I love it. The storyline was well written imo.

I loved this movie so much because it was so campy and extra. I understand where the disapproval is coming from (from other people) because they converted a cruel villain, someone who kills dogs and actually an epitome of capitalism and turned her into this rebel punk anti-hero. I fall on the other side, I really loved how the creators reimagined Cruella. Also, it looks like there's going to be a sequel because of the post credit scene!

That’s who they are in my mind😂 No matter the role they play

I think people were coming in thinking too much about the Dalmations like yes they’re involved but the movie focuses more on cruelly hence the title of the movie

Dalmatians are extremely protective guard dogs so they probably got in the zone of chasing after Estella and leapt onto whoever was not someone they knew.

I love her laughs

The only thing who disappointed me in that movie is the fact we still don't know why she's born with that hair color. In France, where I live, the music where Estella is drunk, is used for the advertiser of the perfume " La petite robe noire " by Guerlain.

I love this reaction! The first time I watched this movie I was like "What?" "She didn't kill any dogs?" "Huh?" But now I know this is before we knew our "Cruella" who kills dogs but I love it! But I am kinda confused why the necklace is so important because in the begining she said the necklace killed her I am not for sure but yeah I don't know ya know?
