The hijab is not meant to be a fashion accessory as it's supposed to be for women to cover up their "adornments" so not to arouse Muslim men. She found a way to make money off Islam.

@@Ruby-G first off there’s nothing wrong with making money off the concept of Islam especially if your promoting it. Your just another hyper negative Muslim, always trying to find something wrong With people or what they do. Instead of saying Alhamdulilah, u find things wrong. There’s also no Hadith that says their hijab can’t be a a fashion statement. It’s simply to cover them, that’s what Allah expects. Ur sitting here creating some moronic concept as if Allah himself said they can’t decor themselves. This is why they are allowed to adorn themselves for their husbands not society. Lastly, maybe ur more mad that she’s white and making money off a a hijab concept that hundreds of other Muslims have been doing already.

I never had this view of hijab being "oppressive" because I grew up in a small town with Amish, German Baptist and Mennonite women that covered their hair. My family was just Christian, not any of these denominations but I knew they all covered for their Lord. When I became Muslim it was easy to wear hijab because of those other women who covered for their Lord.

Many of them wear expensive designer clothes and bags too further making it evident they deeply care about their appearance and social status. The hijab is just a social identity cue. It’s simply a way to indicate to others one proudly belongs to the Muslim tribe. It’s the exact same thing as wearing a yarmulke.

As an ex-Muslim, I have a few questions for Muslims👇👇👇 Based on what MUSLIM HISTORIANS have written down the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), had sex with Safiyya just a few days after her whole family (husband, father, brother, Uncle) got killed fighting with the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) himself!!! Two interesting fact: 1) She was famous as a very beautiful woman and was 40 years younger than the prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). 2) The prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), tortured Safiyya's husband to death in order to find hidden treasure!!! Yes, the most perfect human who ever lived, tortured someone to find his gold. 17 years old, Saffiya didn't even have the opportunity to mourn for her father or her husband. Also, Quran says: "And all married women (are forbidden unto you), excepting your slave-women..." Chapter 4, Verse 24 ✍Male Muslims can have sex with their slave girls even if they are married. "and who guard their private parts, except with their spouses and whomever their right hands may control (slaves), since then they are free from blame." Chapter 23, Verse 5, 6 "and those who guard their private parts, apart from their spouses and their slave women, for then they are not blameworthy" Chapter 70, Verse 29, 30 ✍Male Muslims can satisfy their sexual desire either by having sex with their wives, or with their slave girls. "O Prophet! Indeed We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand owns (slave girls), of those whom Allah gave you as spoils of war, and ..." Chapter 33, Verse 55 ✍Allah tell the prophet Mohammad that he can have sex with his slave girls which he captured in war. 🤔Muslims makes extremely extraordinary claims that the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), is the greatest man who ever lived and his way of living should be the example for the rest of humanity in every place and in every time!!! But what is their extremely extraordinary evidence for their claim?! 🤔I wonder how anyone could be a Muslim after reading those verses from Quran?! Ibn ‘Umar [al-Waqidi] - Kathir b. Zayd - al-Walid b. Rabah - Abu Hurayrah: While the Prophet was lying with Safiyah Abu Ayyub stayed the night at his door. When he saw the Prophet in the morning he said "God is the Greatest." He had a sword with him; he said to the Prophet, "O Messenger of God, 👉this young woman had just been married, and you killed her father, her brother and her husband, so I did not trust her (not to harm) you👈." The Prophet laughed and said "Good". The History of Al-Tabari, State University of New York Press, vol.39 translated by Ella Landau-Tasseron, p.185 The oldest extant biography of Muhammad is called the "Sirat Rasulallah" - "Life of the Prophet of Allah". This book was written by Ibn Ishaq, a devout Muslim scholar, and later revised by Ibn Hisham. It was written before any of the major works of Hadith. It is considered the most authentic biography of Muhammad. It was translated into English by A. Guillaume as "The Life of Muhammad", page 515 reads: "Kinana b. al-Rabi', who had the custody of the treasure of the B. al-Nadir, was brought to the apostle who asked him about it. He denied that he knew where it was. A Jew came (Tabari says "was brought") to the apostle and said that he had seen Kinana going round a certain ruin every morning early. When the apostle said to Kinana, 'Do you know that if we find you have it I shall kill you?' he said Yes. The apostle gave orders that the ruin was to be excavated and some of the treasure was found. When he asked him about the rest he refused to produce it,👉 so the apostle gave ordrs to al-Zubayr b. al-'Awwam, 'Torture him until you extract what he has,'👈 so he kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad b. Maslama and he struck off his head in revenge for his brother Mahmud." "Safiya narrated. I hated Allah’s Apostle more than anyone in the world, because he had killed my husband, my father and my brother. But he kept on saying, “Your father incited the Arabs to unite against me and he did this and that…” until all hatred was gone away from me." Al-Bayhaqi, Dala’il an-Nubuwwah, vol. 4, p. 230 There was none more hateful to me then Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) as he killed my father and husband. [But] the Prophet (pbuh) explained, ‘O Safiya your father instigated the Arabs against me and did so and so…’ He kept on explaining until that feeling (of hatred) vanished from me.’ Tabarani Kabeer, Hadith 19668. ✍Here Saffiya saying she hated the prophet at first, because he slaughtered her whole family. So when he had sex with her, she hated him, that’s just called rape. Two things we should keep in mind are that: 1) she was surrounded by those who took her as slave and for the rest of her life, she had to live among those who butchered her whole family. 2) All of this written by Muslims, so of course she would claim, or Muslim scholar would add, that she didn't hate him anymore.

Al-Bayhaqi, Dala’il an-Nubuwwah, vol.

@chintuz1002 yes you can't generalise Dear, we should appreciate the amazing blessing we have :) even non practising muslims have the Grace that many people who reverted get amazed to have...because it is inner sobhanaAllah... As for my comment I wanted to tell her that it is Okey, because in your twenties, even if you are religious and serious about everything that religion dictates you still get the little chaitan every now and then to tell u, u should look pretty, they shouldn't think you r ugly with ur hijab, may be put colours etc c etc ...but if u keep convincing yourself it is for the sake of Allah.these little insecurities won't get the best of you :) alhamdulillah...so she did well and praying to all our fellow Muslim sisters and brothers to have a strong conviction which will all make sens in a couple of decades time... That is why all the revelations to the prophets only started after they reached 40 years old :)

I don't go to the beach often since I don't wear a bikini and when I wear a dress it sticks to my body so is pointless. I wear large and long clothes is just my hear that's uncovered. And people asked me why are you dressing like this in a European country and I told them it feels liberating not feel sexualized and have a choice over my body and protect my body. Still they couldn't understand that covering is liberating...

Chapter 33, Verse 55 ✍Allah tell the prophet Mohammad that he can have sex with his slave girls which he captured in war.

During an interview with Angelika Neuwirth, the distinguished Professor of Qur’anic studies, she argued that the Qur’an has never been successfully challenged by anyone, past or present: "No one has succeeded, this is right…I really think that the Qur’an has even brought Western researchers embarrassment, who were not able to clarify how suddenly in an environment where there were not any appreciable written text, appeared the Qur’an with its richness of ideas and its magnificent wordings."

So love this video! Thank you as I needed to see this today. Maybe an odd question, but I’d love to find out where she got her hijab as I’m looking for something that feels light and stays on without a bunch of pins. Her hijab looks like it would be easy to put on too.

Bible, Corinthians 11:15, “But if every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved…For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn).” Bible is actually tougher on women than Quranic Guidance. When my dad and I would travel to Pennsylvania to visit the Amish Dutch, their good women were covered and were most hospitable, not cheap, nor adulterous, nor corrupt, nor rude, nor flirtatious-just humble). I was shocked in parts of Texas where some preaching women wore miniskirts to their church assemblies while flirting with men instead of finding their proper space to pray. Then, there are other churches where people truly pray. One wonders, if we women are going to be doing cheap, lascivious things and expect men to respect us, or God Almighty to shower more blessings….well, one wonders. In this time of mass hysteria m, egotism, and eggshell violence…,one wonders. Corinthians 13, “Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?” No wonder Matthew Arnold wrote about the dying “Sea of Faith,” a profound poem on the decadence and decline of Faith. MashaAllah, thoughtful interview-listening a second time.

MashaAllah. May Allah keep blessing the young sister’s endeavors, and great interview. (An atheist once argued with me about why Muslim women are “covered up” so much, and how “oppressed” we are, giving the faulty example of the Ayatollah who had the young woman killed. Ironically, this young woman from another country who hardly wore anything, allowed herself to be abused by random cheap men, thinking how “liberated” she was, and why she had “such bad luck,” -revolving doors of her own superstitions. May Allah give her “extreme feminism” a sense of clarity, giving her a chance of redemption -as May we all). Sura The Light Sura 24:60, “Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage,-there is no blame on them if they lay aside their outer garments, provided they make not a wanton display of their beauty: but it is best for them to be modest: and Allah is One Who sees and knows all things.” Sura 33:32, “O Consorts of the Prophet! You are not like any of the other women: if you do fear Allah, be not too complaisant of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but you speak a speech that is just./And stay quietly in your homes, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish regular Prayer, and give Charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger.” Now with all the mass shootings, it’s even more timeless that we women take precautions when misogyny is on the rise as in the Times of Ignorance. Shooters and rapists do not say, “that could be my mother, aunt, daughter, or sister-/they stalk, prey on women everywhere, in their cowardly desperation).
