We spoke to Faryal about the Manchester Access Programme. The programme helps prepare Year 12 students from Greater Manchester for university life. It offers an opportunity to those who may not have typically thought they could go to university, to experience it and work their way towards entry. The programme itself, upon completion, provides lower entry requirements for students who take part, along with skills and support such as with personal statements.
