Just something real quick. Not bashing on you or anything, but i saw you explaining her C4 wrong. it doesn't give her Charge Shot an ability, it gives her Skill an Ability. As said her Skill gives her Charge Shot the Collapse and C4 gives the Collapse the Ability to generate Particles. That is also the Reason why her C6 generates Particles. If Anemo DMG is dealt the Collapse activates and that in return activates her C4 to gernerate Particle.

they really peaked with gorou in the niche element buffer category bc even though he has issues with er its easily alleviated and he doesn't need nearly as enough energy as faruzan, and he also doesn't have the clunky aim shot thing

No ER Issues, stupidly easy to use, his Q is always ready, his collapse damage can reach around 8k if you get a decent enough crit ratio and like 3k Def, and doesn't need C6 to be viable. He already gives Geo Bonus and a metric ton of DEF by being C0, and 40% geo crit dmg at C6 is busted.

He has no er issues because he forces you to use an entire team of his element, and even if he did, you realize his burst does almost nothing right

I really hate how mihoyo prefers to go this way to create new units (aka doing clunky characters whom kits gets problems only constellations can solve) instead of just trying to create more fun way to play... for the sake of not power creeping the OG characters like... idk...it doesn't makes me wanna pull, spend money, for a character I'm not going to enjoy bc devs were too scared they would be powerful... is asking for a functional C0 character too much to ask for😭 We thought sara and thoma were low but sumeru 4* are hitting a new floor right now and it scares me for future regions. Are we going to get to a point new character will straight up be unplayable unless you get to C6??? Like seriously?? EDIT: I'm feeling the same with 5* as well, I mean thankfully new units dont get crushed as hard as 4* characters but idk... I just feel like they are getting more and more lack luster unless you spend enough to "resolve problems" with C1/C2, not even talking about how they are getting more hard to build with new artifacts sets you have to farm all over again if you want them to be competitive with older units as idk... hutao or ganyu Is it just me..?

@@trottinettesauvage I think Hoyo is getting greedy. They want people to whale for C6 4 stars and C1-C2 5 stars. The fact that older characters are often great at C0 and they made Dendro kinda broken is odd though. I cleared this current abyss with International on one half (Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha, Childe) and Nilou's F2P team on the other (Nilou, Barbara, Collei, DMC) My international team is high investment my Nilou team is low investment. I still don't like that she's stuck in Hydro/Dendro only teams but at least she can deal with the Thunder Manifestation.

If i could get her. 50 pulls and not a single Faruzan. Its like pulling Heizou all over again

Tbh the worst part of her kit is no particles, which is insane and upsetting. For real, was it really necessary to do that with the only character that supports anemo? The one and only, most likely... Edit: Some of you are ridiculous in the replies. First, would you consider Barbara a hydro (dedicated) support because one of her constellations reduces enemies hydro res when using her elemental skill? Probably not, so how is Jean (or even sucrose just for her particles and ttds) a dedicated support for anemo characters? Second, yes, I am aware that Faruzan can generate particles when CA, but isn't that bothersome to the point that it feels nonexistent because it messes up with the flow of her/team's gameplay. Not to mention, she has an 80 energy burst cost and her skill mechanic is similar to Sara (character that doesn't have the best reputation as she is very clunky and at least she can ease that problem with c2). Faruzan is energy hungry, that's a fact. Is it really that hard to accept that hoyo did her kit dirty? Third, what's the point of having new characters if they are not going to be viable and comfortable to play with. Finally, I DID watch the whole video and commented my own opinion after doing so. There's no need to be offensive/rude/condescending in the comments.

I already was obsessed with Heizou damage but with Faruzan… He’s a machine

I wish that Gorou C6 has off field grouping function like Faruzan C6 bc 1 thing that bothers me a lot is that other elements than Anemo don't have good grouping. I would love to see other elements have some of grouping role like hydro generate whirlpool, geo generate sandstrom etc.

Yeah that would be great a quicksand would be cool af. but yeah I don't really think they need a grouper for now. Ningguang is basically not really great in a full GEO team. and the 2 that needs it have insane AOE, Noelle can hit almost all enemies and same goes for Ittou. but having 1 would boost all geo mono potential by a lot.

As a xiao main ever since his release, I was very excited on getting faruzan and finally boost my Xiao’s overall performance but to say that I was disappointed is an understatement. I feel like Hoyoverse keep playing with the feelings of xiao mains 🥺🥺🥺

Right now im gonna stick with sucrose, bennet, and zhongli. The difference between sucrose and C0 faruzan when it comes to rotations and comfortability is just insane

@Sharan Lama but have you tried using your team in the spiral abyss? I get the same results as you but the rotation is what is bugging me. Having faruzan(C0) rather than sucrose just messes my rotation by the third rotation.

I have her. Once i get the Wanderer, i'll have to try her. Her skill generates particles, and when She gets these particles, increased mov and atk Speed of members for 15% and for 15s.

I got C0 Faruzan to support my dps Jean who i usually use as the solo team member in the overworld, Faruzan seems really fun and provides a good boost to Jeans skill and burst damage, maybe not optimal but neither is not running a full 4 person team, for my casual none meta usage she seems great :)

I wouldn't say that she's an active detriment, to be considered that bad I'd say that including Layla in a 4 character team would need to be worse than just excluding her and running with 3 characters. there are certainly better choices before C6 though.

Banners could be improved, if the boosted 4 star drop rate were reduced for a character, if you got max constellations for it. Giving people a better chance of actually getting something else. Banners have lost a lot of value for me. They rerun 4 stars I have maxed. While the banners themselves give me all dupes, instead of whatever new thing they added. I'm probably gonna fail the 50/50, so I'm getting shafted the entire process.

yeah, it's kinda annoying when you get a 4* again even after maxing them out. I still remember Razor on Nahida's banner, I'd gotten him to C6 on the banner before. I was wishing on Nahida's banner until I could C1 her (I was using her on a Bloom team and without any Pyro or Electro characters her burst is completely useless without C1 which is why I wanted it). I'm pretty sure I got about 15 Razors (he was already at C6), 2 Bennets (got me from C4 to C6) and 0 Noelles (still stuck at C2).

It got very mid luck and got her to C3 in about 110 wishes. I'll probably be able to get her to C6 at her first rerun but until then she'll likely just be a bench warmer. Same thing happened when I got Gorou and Sara.

I wish they would've made Layla this good on later constellations as well 😕

@@marclenraymagdaraog691 Its opposite for me, I usually don't really get excited while getting 4 stars but if constellations make them much stronger then I would feel really happy everytime I get a constellation. That being said I still didnt get a single Sara and Faruzan in my 16 month old account.

It will be pretty hard to get her, gorou and sara to c6, since will only show up on their release 5star banner (Wanderer, Itto, Raiden). And since most people dont want a copy of a limited 5star, there has to be a 5star they want on the second banner. New 4stars will be hard to max. All the my og 4star (Xianling, Bennet, Xingqiu) are still c5 even with Starglitter. I only got lucky with diona and yanfei.

They could at least run Kujou Sara with Yae Miko or Cyno, Gorou with Albedo, and Faruzan with Xiao. Better yet, update the Starglitter shop to include the niche supports but knowing Hoyo that's highly unlikely.

I got her C2 and dodged Scara. I'll wait until rerun/standard banner to C6. She buffs Xiao quite nicely right now and gives particles via favonius and skill. The only problem now is that my geo resonance is gone and frankly I think double geo/anemo might still be better overall for a Xiao team unless C6 Faruzan.

They read your account and know how much you like the char by friendship or somethin and decide to ruin your pull that way.

Glad you made this video. I wanted to put some wishes into this banner since all 3 4* arent C6. So i only stand to gain from the banner. But faruzan would've been the main reason. Unfortunately i didnt get lucky and only got C5 layla. And seeing as this character is even more C6 worthy or she'll work as a clunky unit, i'll just wait for her in the future. Hopefully raidens banner is going to be usefull aswell. At least there i know i'll like the 5* and there is good value in constellations.

I got super lucky this banner with 4*, I pulled 160 times and got 7 Faruzans and exactly 4 Gorous that was missing from c6

I quite enjoyed her playstyle in co-op with my friends. But that's all I can think to say about her lol.

So even the one trick pony 4* units are getting reverse powercreep? Damn. Goro and sara might be one trick ponies, but atleast theyre very fluid, just use Eskill, burst, then swap out and wait for the next rotation. There's no clunky or wasted part of their kit.

faruzan's second charge shot reminds me of the sonic arrows in god of war ragnarok

its just like gorou but weaker, even the c6 are similar. geo has less support than anemo though so it makes sense that gorous skills are worded better

at c5... but also have a guarantee for the next banner 5star... gonna pull for 1 more 4 star and hope it doesn't drag an extra wanderer with it... Also; I Kinda wish the 60% charge time reduction was more like 90% or instant charge just so I can quick shot the ground to trigger the vortex... maybe a future artifact set could have a bow charge time reduction/ reduced claymore CA windup or something...tho that might make ganyu too strong....Or they could buff anemo resonance with a charge time/windup reduction since that fits with its current effects...I mean its pretty much just used for exploration so yeah... an anemo resonance buff would be nice...

idk I don't play genshin much but i think she could be a pretty good sub dps if used by herself, ik this sounds stupid but her hurricane arrow has little downtime and her burst buffs herself, i think if she's used with other anemo supports that can utilise the burst buff off field and can help her with energy problems she can output some decent damage, to show what i mean here's an example team of all 4 stars characters Faruzan (stringless since her hurricane shot scales with elemental skill damage) Sucrose or Kazuha if you have him (faruzan's battery build them both normally) Dori (Personally i think dori is underrated, she can provide some okay healing but her off field electro application with her c2 makes her a good 4 star unit for an off field support) any other unit of your choice (for my example xiangling) If all characters have their bursts ready here's a rotation that you could do off the top of my head Faruzan Burst Sucrose Burst Xiangling Burst Dori Burst Faruzan Skill then use hurricane shot to swirl Dori Elemental Skill etc my point is that she has a few things going for her and with how fixed the genshin community is when it comes to "how does this work with this other thing" regardless of element or character, a lot of the time they don't tend to think that "how does this affect the character and the enemies he or she is fighting" with faruzan not only is she buffing her own damage BUT her hurricane shot has a pretty large radius and since her skill has a low cooldown she's a pretty good character to just switch in and out of because she can always do her thing

Only got one Faruzan after 60 wishes, on the bright side I now have C6 Gorou for my Geo team and lost 50/50 (good for me) so I have the next banner guaranteed, whenever or if Alhaitham is released (hopefully) soon.

Only took me 160 pulls for c2 wanderer and c6 faruzan im happy wanderer is the first limited character ive ever got cons on in my 2+ years of playing genshin

I got her to C3 when pulling for Wanderer, I hope Faruzan appears on Xiao's banner as well hahaha. Unfortunately, I only have one set of good Noblesse, and it's already with Benny. :(

I got insane luck and pulled her c6 in like 80 wishes, just while trying to get wanderer. Also pulled Jean somewhere along the way which was incredible

I got her C7 in 90 pulls after losing 50-50 to Qiqi for the second time in a row, losing 50/50 really sucks but getting her C6 was the good part, specially for f2ps like me!

That's extremely uncommon. On average one copy is about 35 rolls or 3-4 multis totalling about 245~ rolls for a C6 on average. You literally got 7 Faruzan in 90. That's 1 in every 12.9~ rolls. Pure insanity

I got her c6 while pulling for Itto..(got 4 Faruzan in one pull)... Had no intention of using her but might take her for a spin one day.

Apparently you need to wait 5 sec ish to fire her second charge shot (C1) to get energy particles

For those of you who managed to get at least a C0 copy of Faruzan, there's another approach to using her rather than as a pure anemo support. Yes it would be nice to get a C6 copy but that's most likely a very expensive proposition in terms of luck, primos or real money. One of the really nice thing about her kit is actually her "E" rather than her "Q" which is very niche. Build around her "E" and you will have a very effective support unit especially for the open world. I've been testing this functionality all evening with a lvl 37 Faruzan with lvl 0 artifacts and she's simply amazing. Her "E" can be aimed which is tactically extremely useful plus the aimed component is an anemo elemental attack. Plus you can activate her "E", switch out and switch back to take her shot which gives you a lot of flexibility. But the key fact is that the aimed component is elemental in nature plus it swirls plus it interrupts and pulls mobs. These are all very useful and if used judiciously gives you great control over any fight. My current comp is using her with Layla, Beidou and Kokomi - they're easily clearing out anything in the open world without breaking a sweat (or anyone taking any damage). I begin fights with Layla's "E" and "Q" which sets up the foundation for Faruzan to swirl cyro (and protect Faruzan who esp at lvl 37 is really squishy). Just make sure that the targets are within range of Layla's "Q" area of effect. Then all Faruzan has to do is activate her "E" and take a shot (try to aim and hit someone for the energy). This will draw the mobs into a group that is affected by cyro and/or anemo and who are essentially helpless. Then just add elements from both Kokomi and Beidou and you're done. It is stupidly effective and you can substitute Beidou for other characters with an elemental component to their attack (Yae Miko, Lisa, Xiangling, etc.) Buildwise I am currently using 2 pc VV and 2 pc Emblem. Weapon can literally be anything - I'm just using a Crescent Hunt as I have one lying around and no one to use it and it's prefect for this set up. Faruzan is definitely fun and I just love her character - sassy... BTW, with a reasonable amount of EM (ie. > 100) her "E" should be available almost all of the time.

Well tbh overworld is meant to be easy anyway. I think comparing with the abyss would be more optimal. Kinda not digging this E playstyle though. Plus sucrose does that but a lot easier.

@@dominustempus8969 I totally understand where you are coming from and don't necessarily disagree. For people with accounts like you and me, yes the overworld may seem to be ridiculously easy at times. However, in my experience, I've had to help quite a few people struggle with open world content. So one of the reason for my post above is to try to help people in that situation, who have managed to snare a single copy of Faruzan and were wondering just what to do with Faruzan and don't have the Wanderer or Heizou. BTW, Sucrose doesn't need Faruzan. As you said Sucrose can in many scenarios do things much easier, but she's not a ranged unit. Range doesn't really matter in a confined space like the Spiral Abyss but range can be a big factor in many open world fights.

I tested her, she is viable since C0 but she will unlock more and more potential from C1 to C6. At C6 she is supreme Anemo support for any Anemo DPS, but at C0 only Heizou (Single Target) and DPS Kazuha/Venti (AOE Situation) are good to pair with her. C0 Heizou/Kazuha C1 Swirl Faruzan, She can do 5 Swirls from E CA vacuum CA vacuum C2 Now She can be used as Xiao or Scara support with severed fate set on her C3 - C4 help to lift that 80 energy problem a little C5 great for more Anemo% buff C6 Monster

Uh... Do you have a discord that I can send a gif too? Or something cause I think the PC version of Genshin is bugged. I don't know why but the way she works on the PS5 is a strangely different. Like, when I shoot her arrow pulls enemies pretty well, so I then again I'm swirling with her so maybe that's it? This is kinda weird. UPDATE: you can apply the anemo resistance shred through her arrow, that's what's I was referring to

I got C2 Faruzan in like 35 wishes. I have a 4 piece VV and a Sac Bow on her. I like her.

I spend 120 wishes for C6 faruzan and I got C6 faruzan and 3 arataki Ittos I had C1 from last time he was available so now I have C4 itto. I got back to back to back 5 stars and then a bunch of faruzans it was the most insane pull session of my life.

She gives anemo resistance decrease like VV/deepwood, she gives anemo DMG bonus, at C6 she gives anemo crit dmg like C6 Gorou/Sara Also she gives small atk boost like Yunjin/Shenhe through A4 passive but it's pretty negligible

The flat Dmg bonus she gives is weaker than Benny.. and in terms of elemental mono weaker than Gorou and Sara but her particle regeneration and CC utility AT C6 not c0 or anything below c6 is Abysmall and not even worth putting in team if you have better units.

I really don't like the direction where Hoyoverse has been going with BiS 4* supports for hypercarry 5* characters on banner pretty much ever since Kujou Sara came out with Raiden Shogun, especially with these characters being 1) extremely niche and 2) either borderline unusable at C0 and then becoming absolutely cracked at C6 and really no in-between. It's just extremely predatory to me and also off-putting to new players just getting into the game who weren't lucky enough to get into it when the first gen of extremely useful, borderline busted even at early constellations 4* characters like Bennie, Xingqiu, Sucrose and Fischl.

4 stars in this days need all his cons to be really good. 4 stars from 2 years ago need only 2 cons to be really good, or even cero cons! And still really good. Just as Xinquiu, Benny, Xiangling, Fischl ETC.

C6 Faruzan her BIS is probably gonna be Elegy of the End. Like it is for most bow units.

Sadly, this doesn't not make me want to wish on either banner, especially when there's a risk of getting two characters that I don't necessarily want/need verses getting the main goal and a few constellations on a character I already have. I was hoping this video would entice me, but if I have to basically get her to C6 to make her feel useful in my book, then it's a no for me. Even more so since Sucrose is my main Anemo user and she wasn't mentioned at all. I have PLENTY of bow users on my account, but she just feels weird to use with my play style; even Gouro feels weird to me - hasty even. He'd end up being like my Albedo, used for his burst/skill and then switched to someone else. What this video DID do was remind me to work on my Bennett some more cause he can be a full blown killer if I invested in him properly. Might do a little of that today while I have some time. I pulled Jean, C6 Yan, C6 Gorou, Kuki x1, Heizou x2, C0 Wanderer and I got only one (ONE!) Faruzan. This is shame.

I spend 70 wishes on this banner was already at 50 pity won my 50/50 lost 1 after to deluic and no faruzan in sight

Watching this video made me a little bit more happier losing 50/50 for wanderer, but gaining a c3 faruzan in the process. ^-^

I tried getting her while pulling for the wanderer, but got yanfei C25 instead. Still don't have faruzan.

I will probably get C4 jean (I have C3) before C6 Faruzan

mihoyo needs to reduce the clunkyness of furazan and scara a buff or something like when something hits you when flying it interrupts ike what why how please reduce those problems mihoyo otherwise i have no problem with scara, just solve these interruption problems and maybe stamina
