Irene's flamenco at this age is "perfection", there is NOT a single flaw, every move, turn, hand gesture, tap of the toes, and foot slide is correct. Achieving this at this age is simply mind-boggling. She has talent, and she has done the work but that innate grace and genius, that is only God-given. Much luck and good fortune to you, Irene. This video is a joy to watch every single time.

I am 51 years old & do you know that you , Irene, are my inspiration to learn flamenco- ever since I saw a clip of you on Facebook I have wanted to learn. I have finally started classes 3 weeks ago. God can give you talent, you can work on your strength (and dear God she already has incredible power) but the passion? This comes from somewhere deep within. Look at her every movement, the extension, those who have danced professionally themselves know what I mean, the ever present control -is truly amazing. I am sure one day soon, the world will take more notice of her, and I am already glad I know who to look out for. Truly amazing.

Really agree here. In my culture, we often don´t dance in front of strangers, because dance is sadly used to objectify women and somehow oogle them for their own hidden purposes. Yet when I see Flamenco, it really presents women as a force to reckon with. Yes, of course it looks attractive as well, but it has that "Don´t mess with me" quality that really saves us from being used just to oogle at. When I dance, I don´t dance in front of people who don´t understand my art and who just take it as an invitation for their depravity.
