Love how the pups show up when the Ferrier starts to work.
The attention to detail that you wouldn’t think you’d find in doing this is so satisfying
That dog is hilarious….
I could watch these (this channel) videos all day. There’s something about the way he does it. It would be nice to hear him explain how/why he does what he does with each horse.

I've never seen a dog yet that doesn't love farrier visits!

Why do I love this!!! I don't even own a horse!!

I believe he is filing away sharp edges that hav the potential to injure the hoof after repeated steps. Yes the hoof is dead tissue and doesn't hurt, but it can get injured easily if the shoe is not properly prepared and fitted to each hoof.

If I may, in the warmer months every 8 weeks, colder months it slowed down, some owners took off the shoes & let them just be horses, I used to shoe a lot of show horses, Gated Saddlebread , walking & racking Tenn Walkers, worked Va, WVa, Tenn & N.C. my father inlaw was a well known blacksmith/farrier in the 70's through the 90s.

Don't tell me the dog is eating the debris of the hoof!!!
a brilliant one 1⃣ and one of my understanding. the night before the elderly man was going out to stay at the night. I was just wondering what was the night before the flight was scheduled for? I have a flight to the airport and have to travel. so I have to wait until I get home from your office and I can run it off the elderly man :
I can see why you'd be wanting to set those toes of the shoes back considering the osteoarthritic appearance of those metacarpophalangeal joints.

Just critiquing to maybe help you achieve better skills or habits as a Farrier, I’m in no means talking shit I am just straight forward, honest and not a ass kisser. I owe my mentors a lot for all their knowledge and honesty that has made me a better Farrier. This is what I see in this video. Improper way to sight alight a hoof for balance medial, lateral , dorsal and palmer. Still a good amount of dorsal wall to be dressed back. Properly fitting a clipped shoe rather it be side clips, quarter clips, toe clips or triple clips they should always be burned in to the wall in accordance with hoof capsule angle , NEVER hammered in as it causes tubule damage to the laminae. The shoe was not fitted flat to the hoof it only burned at the toe and medial side barely. The ground surface of the shoe doesn’t need rounded off that’s just a waste of time. Could use some work on the way you bevel the shoe or “Safe” the shoe. Nail placement could use some work, higher nail placement is easily achievable with proper shoe fit. For a proper clinching you should gouge with a “Gouge” as it sets the proper depth for the clinch to be flush with the hoof wall. After all that work the hoof capsule is still not properly balanced as you can see from the dorsal view the lateral side is further away from the hairline than the medial. Always remember to fit the shoe to hoof, and not the hoof to the shoe.
