Wow he was in rough shape here! I noticed when this came out but now I see how bad he really was. It’s great he’s cleaned himself up now & is a family man. I think he’s still got much more to offer the band & music in general, I enjoyed the hell out of his solo album.

Love Phil. So he spends 9 mil on cars but has no teeth..He could very well be depressed. Having millions in the bank doesn't necessarily mean happiness. He doesn't look well. I hope he will be ok. Phil, you're one of the best.

Why are there so many haters? Are you all jealous or something? If he wants to spend $9 million on cars then thats up to him.Its his money. Where do you haters all get off being judgmental? Hes an awesome drummer with the best rock band ever and is living life to the max. I bet not many of you have met him either so how dare you all sit in judgement. Ive had the pleasure of meeting him way back when we were learning to fly helicopters and back then he was a polite,quiet,unassuming young man just enjoying life.We all fall on hard times sooner or later but at least hes trying to do something constructive. An old saying to take notice of..."Never look down on someone unless you are helping them up". Rock on Phil

stephen mcdonald its true but people are diff.we can play with words.punk is born in ghettos like 70's british punk,reggae needs some weed and lazy sun,blues needed hard and heavy trip in the ocean between Africa and new India,juke joints etc.but if i see energy drink and a guy say he's gonna shake this world,i dont believe it.music that shake the world,musician needs adversity, passion and uncertainty.like blues which was first music for everyone with backbeat.

Sorry Mervyn but I'm not sure where you get his trying to do something constructive. With all the money he has spent on cars, why doesn't he get some help and also buy some teeth. Shame but his days are over with ACDC. I met him years ago also and would have to say I would not recognise him now

I was stunned when I saw him on tv after his arrest, I thought to myself, that's not Phil Rudd, must be another Phil Rudd. Honestly I have been following AC/DC since the early 70's and would not have recognised Phil if he walked past me in the street. I was looking at him on TV and thinking where in the hell are your teeth, it's not like you can't afford to get some new ones. Not only that, his complexion and overall facial appearance has changed. Yes I have met him, many years ago, and I just hope he can get his act together. I read that at one stage they were going to record their latest album without him because they didn't know if he'd turn up and was days late when he did finally appear. Let's hope he gets the help he needs

I've seen some very rude, judgmental and incredibly superficial comments on here...it's so easy to poke at those who are having some problems or don't full your expectations of what they think a rock star is. He has my respect for being real, down to earth and just being himself. Drug addiction is hell and it does take a lot out of you. It could happen to about anyone and I hope he gets himself clean and gets back up. He's a damn good drummer and his album is very good too. The celebrities and wealthy people who are able to not be superficial or vain about their appearance have my respect.

I've ways liked Phil's style of drumming and it suits AC/DC very well. He's solid. I'm holding on to the hope that he is being framed some how. There's got to be more to this story people say I'm gonna kill you all the time in a heated moment. As for the drugs, he always did them. He's a rocker.

Tim The Aussie Our time is short. Best to use it wisely. He looks happy here. Hopefully he can rejoin the band in the next album (really hoping theres another one after rock or bust!).

He carries ALL his car keys on the one ring...lol. He's madder than a cut snake.

I've been holding judgement on this one for a long, long time. For fuck's sakes !!! There were no signs now, were there ? I'm damn sure if Angus ,Malcolm ,Brian or Cliff had one inkling this was happening to Rudd, they would of intervened immediately. The way these guys have recorded and toured over the last 20 odd years, it left 5 years in between each phase of that very process. A lot can happen in between then. He looked spot on for that BLACK ICE tour. Maybe things started going shit right after that. I pray this man is getting the attention for his addiction that it surely deserves. I doubt seriously if he does clean up, he'll be entrusted with the job and sound that he only created for history's GREATEST and purest Rock n Roll band. I don't see Angus doing what he did to Chris Slade a second time when Rudd came back into the fold around 2000. Phil is gone forever as the mainstay of that rhythm section. The ONLY way I see him getting his job back is if Slade himself elects to retire, or if he should pass on and go that great gig in the sky.

His life, his way, worked hard, respect.

God, Phil is one of my drumming influences. The "less is more" approach and keeping time. Having said that, he looks fucking HORRIBLE!!!! I can only wonder how long he's been on meth, and where are his teeth at??? If Malcolm were still running the band, I'm pretty sure that he would again fire Rudd. I'd be surprised if AC/DC doesn't do that anyways. What a shame. He IS the AC/DC drummer! Even Bon must be looking down at Phil's health, and tearing up a bit.

james madison Bon's death was tremendous loss for Phil,so road fatigue and loss of Bon,that madness, Phil handled it in his own way which led him back to Oz with one way ticket from Mal.Phil was sued way back 90's from boat accident,by woman who got some facial injuries,then in Tauranga he got weed charges and now this.but i just wonder how many pple already judge him and whole comment line proves dat persecution and hyenas has found great forum here.i would never kick out a man who is in the trouble and hunted,especially in this case.my humble opinion.for RESQFIREMAN1, i get my remedy,just listen Randy's solo from Mr.Crowley and im ok..or not

Shame the band has moved on... PR is/was/is?? one of the true metronomes in history...

Most of the negative comments on this look llike they were made by people not even born when Back in Black came out, let alone when AC/DC were formed! What will you lot look like when you get to his age - and more importantly - what will you be doing? Driving cars like this just for fun?
