Building those apartments is the same mistake my small upscale town made here in Florida. They brought nothing but traffic and trouble to our highly rated schools. Lots of parents who didn't have the time to care about what their kids were up to, and thought it was their right to unload their troubled teens on the school and community to babysit.

I thought there was talk about creating/building a "downtown" to Farragut. Is that still in the works?

As far as I know they are still planning to put in some shoppes and resturants to create a little town center next to all of the new apartments that are going in.

How are outsiders looking to transplant accepted in TN? We are not local to the area!

They are accepted well for the most part! There are tons of people moving to Tennessee so you will fit right in.

Tennessee has no more room. Way overcrowded. Consider moving elsewhere. Be happy.
