Hey Der just so you know, a Butt and Top loader is for picking up big stacks of long logs. The extra claw things on it are supposed to stop the logs from "teeter-totter - ing." (Yes I turned a noun into a verb. Live with it.)

That John Deere is Nice and you could rotate that claw notice the four stripes on the claw when the green colors is in line you rotate the claw when the white and green is lined together you could take sharp turn and not lose the log because the claw would rotate when you turn.

Sorry not read all the comments, but on the JD skidder you can rotate the claw, also there are 2 versions of it. The larger version also has a back plate for pushing logs together.

The butt n top is to grab logs, the knuckle top grabs logs as well, the grapple picks up logs as well, the feller buncher just cuts trees and doesn't take the limbs off, the prosseser is the same thing as the scorpion just on tracks and the skidders move logs

Der to angle the heads on all of those machines you have to press and use the mouse wheel

the button loager is for loading semi trailers and the nuckel loader is for is for the same ting that would be why they have the bar tings on the ends

What I want is for the really great forestry tractor that came with forest mod for 2013, the BMW with a claw on one end and cables for towing logs on the other. Log claws in general are a big omission from the base game.

While there is some problems with the FDR pack, the main problem here is you not having a clue of how to use the machines. The FDR scorpion besides the ability to cut up to 10m got also an extra axis rotation on the cutting head. The Feller Buncher can cut and hold up to 3 trees and then drop it in a pile.The processor is like a scorpion but come with a woodcracker (you can google it) instead of a saw, etc. Most of that machinery have extra axis rotation for the head, but you seems unaware of that. And yes, the textures can use some help and they have bugs, but most work as intended.

"That looks incorrect" "that doesn't look right" dude you don't even know what the machines are or what they do, feller bunchers don't cut trees 10 feet in the air, do research 👍

Rylan Hydamacka He knows that, but their wasn't a way to adjust the angle so with that machine it was the only way to cut.

i think the butt n top loader is used to load a rig. use it to pick the very butt or top of the log (not in the center)

The head on the scorpion tilt in an extra direction

Funny the modder used the back half of the Ponsse Scorpion for the underside part where the tracks are attached. He also used the Liebherr loader for the skidder, just flipped a couple things around. Those machines are horribly scaled and really ugly. Gonna need a ton of work before I think about those mods. The John Deere skidder was really cool though.

macnutpro13 maaaan i noticed that too, pointed it out to the wife and she started laughing saying she could have been more realistic making it from a dream ahaha, it is exactly the rear end of a scorpion, also if you get close to the track of each these loaders, you realize its the same wheel base from the scorpion with a different track texture, and with the wheels closer together, the one thing that really made me aggrevated was that damed T220L Grappler loader, no claw swing mech, wtf is it going to do if you have a pile of logs at the edge of the loaders reach? i mean you cant move the darn thing you would have better chance at getting molasses from a tree in july faster.

Dawson Campbell Haha. Yeah, somebody sure tried. To be honest though, I'm not sure I could do any better, so I won't laugh too hard (though I won't start off by using random equipment and making them do things they aren't designed to do). I have kicked the idea around to start my own modding, but I just don't have the time yet (summer's coming). Gotta learn somehow lol

OMG It's a Tree Cutter like the ponsee!!

I would rather have a Timberjack 230 or 240 cable skidder mod, i love those, and a Timberjack 1110 as that is the forwarder i learnt to drive with

with all the reviews u have done of first day review mods have u like any of them. I know I don't they need a lot of work

the log pullers are called skidders not skid steers. skid steer loaders do not articulate and are small equiptment.

funnything is when this vid was made if he had of read the control notepad doc that comes with them he would of known how to rotate and angle the head

I've played this game for a long time and I never have ran out of gas

It's not a skid steer its a skidder

you need 2 joysticks for it.. just so you know

No no no the feller buncher you Half to extend the arm and lower the boom all the way

I can do far more work with the John Deere skidder and Scorpion, than I could with that useless pile of junk. In order to cut a tree at the ground, you have to sit far back from the tree, to cut it. The loaders are useless as mud. I couldn't even figure out how to load a trailer with any of them. I'll just stick with the scorpion, JD and a front loading tractor with the log grab.

Worst thing I've ever seen in my life farming 15 the height between the cab and the tracks on the on the excavator is way too high for the wait in between the cabin the tracks is high

Please look into these mods and see the real life machines before you review them
