An amazing find. Thank you! Love the 50's/30's style fusion in the Alfalfa bumpers. Was hoping it'd include the animated adverts too that starred Terrytoons characters.

In the fall of 1958, "FARMER ALFALFA AND HIS TERRYTOONS PALS" was initially syndicated (under the national sponsorship of Tootsie Roll, and General Foods' Baker's Instant Chocolate Mix). The cartoons, the majority of which were originally released in the 1930's, were initially seen on "BARKER BILL'S CARTOON SHOW" (1953-'55, CBS; 1956-'58, syndication).

They managed perfectly to recreate a 30s style theme song for the intro sequence of this package series! It doesn't even seem like it sounds as a 50s series intro. That's the magic of this effort put into classic anthology shows that show way older stuff. 30s style and humour but in the 50s, that's a REAL blast! However, "The Porky Pig Show" intro felt nothing like the actual shorts they were showing. I take that as an example of how NOT to make an intro for an anthology TV series that shows 30s cartoons. Hal Seeger didn't have any idea about WB!
