Which mobs do you plan on using this strategy on? Are you planning on using this strategy at all? What are some of the best ways that you've gotten 3-cost echoes?

none. It doesnt matter if I have 23 on set correct main stat echoes if I can only raise one fully or partially raise 2-3 to see if they are worth it.

Another thing to keep in mind is don't throw away your 3 cost atk% echos! Sometimes using a 3 cost as atk% has very similar or equal dps. In fact there are cases where if you have many dmg% buffs that using 1 atk% can outscale. Things like heron/bell, weapon passives, talent passives, and outro buffs are abundant with dmg%. It's already hard enough to find on set echos let alone roll well, so keep in mind atk% is an option to essentially double your chances

23 violet feathered echoes with not a single one that has the correct stat on the correct set.

Facts....glad I'm retiring electro builds until calcharo's replacement arrives. He really ran my resources dry and I still have crappy substats.

Actually though, I'm convinced that the rng is rigged to favor the other set's dmg bonus if it drops on set. The amount of fusion herons with electro damage and vice versa ive gotten is ridiculous

​@@ryanlam5237i agree, on the rare occasion it drops on the right element it feels it will be the wrong set 90% of the time, its actually ridiculous. and here at least its always hp+def on the first two subs to really twist the knife 🙄

I used to do this when I was still farming echoes daily. I’ve moved on to playing Diablo 4 again. What I used to do was build 3 pity on stone bracer enemies and then use the pity on purple birds or flautists. If the stone bracers broke pity I got some good moonlight pieces.

I like these farming routes because seeing them in video format is easier to remember, but I think I'll just stick to following some routes casually to see what I get without building pity since wanting to have a perfect build in mid game just seems like too much work. I'm quite happy for now having my Jiyan and Calcharo with 52% crit rate and 195% crit dgm 👍 (yep, both ended up the same for now- especially since I still cannot activate 2 nodes in Jiyan's skill tree)

btw there is a chance to encounter "Shiny" echo who has auras that is not red and this is sure(100%) to drop echo but does not count toward pity(on my experience still need to test)

There's a trick that I have been utilizing on specific areas with multiple 3-costs, when at pity, group the 3-costs and kill them at the same time to drop 2 echoes. Works 80% of the time 👌 I use havoc mc's liberation for this.

I am just taking advantage of the double reward rn 😅

The Energy regen of Rejuvenating Glow and Electro Heron that I farmed for days before, literally come to me just from the Tacet Fields on the next day lol Edit : OK WHAT... now I just got myself perfect TWO Electro Flautist AND an Electro Heron from the Tacet Fields. My Calcharo and Yinlin set is literally completed lol

i killed any cost 3 mobs on my map everyday (3 hours run per day) end up i have to clean my inventory once every 6 days which took me 1 1/2 hour to do that i have alot of cost 3 with the right element dmg % but out of echo exp lol reroll cost alot of credit too

Guide to burnout Pity on wether it'll drop on 4th or destroy your pity Pity on Purple or Gold Pity on Gear set Pity on Main stat

F it I'm just waiting for 1.1 for that echo DB 21 100% gold drop rate. Can't deal with the purples on top of all this😭

I had the theory with soft pity in the 3rd drop so what I'd do example Farming the Molten Set.... 1st and 2nd Random 3 cost Echoes 3rd Havoc Dreadmane ( since it's abundant and still drops the Fire/Electro set ) 4th Violet Feathered Heron/ Geohide Saurian with this makes my Farming still on set especially if the 3rd Echo breaks the Pity

Dreadmane is a great 3rd echo choice because there are so many on the map.

@@saintontas though if they ran out ( the near ones ) might be hassle to to every now and then just to get the havoc dreadmane as the 3rd but i think its the safest option imo

Why can't a havoc dreadmane stay a HAVOC ELEMENTAL At least you only need one set for each role, except for a few exceptions

Me who's used a wbsite to mark all of the 3 cost and killing them Then once pity builds up, imma kill my desired mob This is very useful for low count mobs like tambourinist as there's only 12 of them, then for void since there are only 2 mobs for this set

i wonder if you ran into a bug where even after the 3 pity the desired echo doesn't drop on the 4th one, i was farming flautist and did this method but was only allowed 14 drops. also can you tell me if the pity resets after spotting a sparkle echo(not the shiny) which is guarantee a drop.

5:27 I remember getting 3 drops of roseshroom in this location and tried to get a picture of it with Rover. My stupid ass couldn't find an angle so it literally disappeared right before my eyes 😭

I ran 2 hours per day for all 3 cost elites for a week using a route on qiqi's notebook. Maybe it's just me. i got more correct main stats from the elites than when i purposefully farmed for specific ones.

Just wait for events where they will give a 3 cost echo selector for the correct stat for a specific set.

These are the kind of cc who teaches you to burn out faster and ends up quitting the game.

This is why I Don't throw purple echoes with elements, farming 3 cost gold is a pain especially gold has 30 chance during early levels.

Since loading screen takes forever for me, i hate using teleport waypoints so i mostly run across the world. I just kill whatever i see along the way 🤣. So optimising echo farming is out of the window

You know some random echoes with auras on them that is guaranteed drop, does it restart the pity when u kill them?

I'm not 100% sure; unfortunately the rate of glowing 3-costs is really low compared to 1-costs. I'll test it out next time I see one in the overworld.

I think it does. One time I managed to find Flautist with the aura when I was on max pity, so I went to kill the non aura Flautist first then the one with the aura. And unsuprisingly, I got both of them. Then I went on building pity again after killing the aura Flautist, and if I remember I killed 3 enemies and they don't drop echoes. Which means the aura doesn't add the pity (although I'm still not really sure) Edit : yes it did. Just found myself an aura Dreadmane today, and it didn't add the pity

after 2 days of farming and grinding the world and 2x tacet field drop I got no useful 3 cost void sets but managed to make 6 great 3 cost glacio sets that I don't need unless I build Sanhua 😂😂😂

Why also not abuse the artificial resonance beacon for faster travel? We can build up to 3 can't we?

100% something a player can do! Unfortunately crafting these takes up quite a few resources that are used to make the craftable weapons, so I have avoided making them.

sounds like a good burnout speedrun to me

I'd recommend it to a player who is desperate and doesn't have the waveplates to run tacet fields.

It’s useful if you want to look for specific echos. For instance, Thunder only has 2 elites (heron and flautist) compared to 3 and there aren’t an abundance of them either. So building pity with other elites and using your guarantee on an electro one isn’t a bad idea.

man, I don’t care that bad to be doing all this for a perfect echo. I guess I’ll never get good ones.

I suggest trying out the tacet fields! They are an amazing source of 3-cost echoes and have a pretty high drop rate at UL 40.

I'm just chilling with tacet field double drop event while waiting for 1.1. Got a few on set electro dmg from it while also farming for changli 😂
