plus time to charge. Look at when your power supply ran out now, and you had to spread the array and wait. Could have refilled from a gas can and started right back up. Gas and solar both have good points, so both can survive.. unless they ban gas. Movements are on to ban gas mowers right now

NO COMMERCIALS and no need to skip ads that I don't get. I wonder if this was envisioned when they made the first movie "War Games". In those days microwaves were rare because they were expensive and worth repairing when they broke down. Although it's cheaper to run a phone system using tone dial, the phone companies charged more to have it. If I get into games I might get a bigger and better monitor dedicated to a computer. But with what you and I got it's just fine.

I’m so glad you have shown us these different solar generators. Being in FL we go through hurricane season and can lose power for hours due to them. After losing our power for 18 hours this last storm and not being able to hook up my freezer and fridge to our gas generator because of continued rain for hours I decided to get the EcoFlow with solar panel. Hoping to not lose anything in the fridge or freezer again with a storm!

The best way I have found to "test" those power stations is to plug in a regular microwave oven and boil water for three minutes, It's not the power usage but the "Surge" that these things begin with when starting that will kick some power units off. If it can handle a microwave oven, then it can handle just about anything. Again, like the Jackery, these things are HEAVY! The other thing, is trying to keep your solar panels at the right angle all day in cloud-free sunlight. Clouds will slow the charge. Great video. I'm envious of your fishing. God bless!

I got one had them placed on my home it is not as effective as promised and the company that installed them is out of business for inaccurate, unethical, and unprofessional business practices and no one will touch the system. Great content, solar definitely has its role. And prices have become more affordable for average folks. Depending on how advanced the setup, I still see gas generators still having their need as an emergency backup. Definitely looking at solar to power outbuildings that aren’t on the grid to repair on-site as opposed to hauling back to the shop.

I'm curious how one of those would do running a small space heater in a deer blind. Propane heaters fog up the windows so bad in enclosed blinds, electric heat would be so much better if it could last a day.

You have shown several different solar generators on your channel. I would like to get one. Which one do you think is the best?

Did you put one of generators over at Wes's new house in case he ever lost power and so he could take one to his shelter.

Hey, Daniel 👋 Question 🙋🏼‍♀️ for you. How often do newer models come out? Are they like iPhones, they’re ever evolving to the point you purchase one and, six months later there’s an updated model is available? Meaning, if I purchase one today, will there be a better one a few months down the road?
