@@benhurrrrdurrrr mourinho wasnt respected this much, even when he got better results. Ole was awarded with bruno, maguire, ronaldo and many more signings even when he was clearly failing. Just imagine getting sancho, varane and CR7 after losing the europa league final and getting a measly 74 points with a stellar squad.

Solskjaer’s love for United goes so deep. It’s what has made this all the more painful. He’s left the club + squad in a much better place than he found it, done everything he can + allowed us to feel we can challenge again for the first time since 2013. Thank you Ole ❤️

You know... even as a Liverpool fan, this was actually pretty tough to watch. All rivalry aside, clubs aside, this is just a man with many emotions. Emotions for a club that has been a massive part of his life and his families life. You cannot help but hurt for him when you see the raw pain written all over his face in this interview. Not gonna lie, I almost cried near the end 😥 I remember when I was 16 at a pub in Cambridge, UK(I was a foreign student at the time) and watching the '99 Champions League Final with a couple of my mates. I will never forget the joy I felt that day after the seeing the "..and Solskjaer has won it!" on the CRT telly there. One of the best memories during my teens. Most top managers have that confidence….thin line between believing in your abilities and arrogance/ egotistical . If you don’t have that then you could easily have a situation as we saw over the last months where players like CR7 and Bruno believe that they can coach the team from the sideline when not top coach would have allowed that.

Solskjaer joined the club at a time when Man Utd was seriously struggling even to survive as a big 6 club in EPL. His wins as interm coach were branded fluke, but still managed to reach at 2nd position on the table. He was able to sign significant players to the club. He is having bad phase, and may be he is not right for Managerial role to make the club great, but he genuinely has been the soul to bring the Red Devils back to TOP CLUB POSITION. Farewell Ole!

He changed the style to flowing attacking team, there was a glimpse oh hope what could have been, but it never materialized into reality. Everytime the team had a great run, there was a terrible run right after. The story we have been accustomed for almost 8 years now.

Seeing Ole in pain like this, breaks my heart. I wish he would've made success as a manager, but it didn't work out. It's football. Regardless, Ole is still the legend who got me interessted in football when scoring the late goal in 1999, and all the times when I sat with my familiy watching Manchester United on TV shouting for Fergusson to put Ole on when we needed the goal. It's emotional day for me. I wish Ole the best. Thank you.

yea mate.. 1999. I was jumping and screaming when Ole scorred the magical goal. its a heartbreaking for me too, to see him the last several weeks.. I really think this is the best for Ole... I wish him all the best for his next managerial career...

I am a United fan since 1999, that final against Bayern was what make me a United fan. And i think almost every United fan in the world always respect him as a player and legend. But his tactical and coaching skill is a big no no. He was always clueless, No plan B, late substitutions, no other strategies he got, bringing Sancho and VDB just to be benchwarmers, those were the things made united fan mad. Even rival fan like City's and Liverpool's sang Ole at the Wheel just to mock him

Ole was so incredibly disrespected by people who really have no clue about Manchester United - just social media and the fact Fergie won a lot of titles. Of course these people do not know how many times Fergie was oh so lucky or all the years that I personally travelled all over to watch the team when we just won the odd FA Cup. What I have witnessed with people who call themselves fans and the You Tube channels is nothing short of disgraceful. Ole, you had me tears watching this. I believe you could have take this team further. You will always be a hero and legend to me. I wish you nothing but the best.

I had this dream that Ole would lead us to Champions League glory. But it was not to be. But Ole you left the club in better shape than when you found it. and I have some great memories along the way. You'll always be a legend to me.

He built a great squad and promoted a lot of youth, brought back the passion to United. I'd say it was pretty successful even if he didn't win anything.

His passion lives on for the club! He's still passionate about this team. The players have let him down! They have let everybody down. They've let themselves down. But, I am absolutely sure, this squad will bounce back!! GGMU!!! Thank you Ole!

He defeated top manager in the world...got 2nd place in pl...runner up uel finalist...bring top 4 in his first full season as a man utd manager...4 semis in any competition... believe a young talented player...He deserve full respect from any media and interviews...from fans chelsea...Class Ole👏👏

I was in tears after I saw this video, I've been supporting ole since the day he came as an interim manager at Manchester. This man revived the Manchester DNA within the team from the staff members to the players on the pitch. And most importantly, he revived this DNA in the true fans who love this club; he made us believe in United once again after a long period of struggles. I kept supporting him to the point that my friends were mocking me. Yes I'm an ole fan and I won't be ashamed of saying it. Ole gave us hope that we can't forget, he gave us some of the most wonderful memories in the history of the club. But this is football for everyone... things will not always work and the fans have a really short memory. True fans will always be grateful to what this man did. Goodbye to the baby-faced assassin who will always be remembered as a legend by the loyal fans in this club.❤️

When he said "i chose to speak out" and i then realised this is post-sacking, I teared up. This man... forever in our hearts as a legend. Problems at UTD run deeper than just him, he done a great job, it was just time to move on ❤️

After all the hate, anger and fury against him. It's heart-breaking to see him leave and remembering what he's done for the club for the past 3 years. Another Liverpool man here, as much as it’s in the blood to hate United, this man showed class the whole way through

When he said he'll support the next Manager I literally felt like crying u can see how much he loves this club!

Much respect to Ole... Win or lose, all eyes have been on Man. U... For many years they fell of the radar. Ole revived the spirit of the club and while his departure has been filled with drama, Ole should be proud of the job he's done. Ole should be welcomed with open arms at Old Trafford. He is a club legend.

Many people think Ole’s finest time is when he won the treble for us in 99. To me it’s during his contract renewal after he had busted his knee, and he turned down a pay rise because he was injured and it wasn’t fair to take more money away from the fans if they can’t even see him play. Yeah Ole still has so much love and respect for Man United. Gutted he didnt win 1 trophy. Europa final was the turning point and United should have waited before handing a 3 year contract extension.
