Synopsis:
The Qin Dynasty perished, and the Chu and Han dynasties contended for the hegemony. Han Wang Liu Bang worshipped Han Xin as a general and attacked Chu. The overlord of the Western Chu, Xiang Yu, acted arrogantly, credulously surrendering to the Han general Li Zuoche, and rashly personally conquered. Princess Yu Ji and the ministers had no results in persuading them, so they had to drive along. In the decisive battle in Jiuli Mountain, Xiang Yu was trapped in an ambush on all sides. The Chu army was separated by Zhang Liang's plan of embarrassment on all sides. Seeing that the general situation is over, Yu Ji was worried that the overlord would be involved and killed herself in tears. Xiang Yu also consciously faceless facing Jiangdong's elders, and suffocated himself.

are you sure you aren't looking for the 1993 film "farewell my concubine" which has the same title as this opera? this opera is part of the film but they are two different stories
