The Longhorn network allowed us to see more women's sports and other non football/basketball sports. It also had great interviews. The one with Mack Brown about the National Championship year and how Vince Young changed his philosophy on practice and changing his mind about rap music and having fun at practice. Mack narrated the interview after he was at North Carolina which again shows the class act he was. I am proud to be a Longhorn fan for the past 60 years and look forward to the SEC. Also to our amazing Volleyball Team repeating the national championship on Sunday and the Horns winning the Sugar Bowl. Hook Em !!!!

What I’ll miss most is the interviews of Longhorn legends. Not many other times I’ve gotten to see them just sit at the table and talk

It's sad that the on field product slipped immediately as soon as we got LHN I feel like if we were good the channel would be viewed differently

100% ... LHN corresponded with one of the worst stretches in Texas football history.

Funny how the complete opposite happened in our other sports, namely volleyball…we became a national powerhouse ever since LHN premiered! But of course, all we care about is football, right?? 🤘🏼🤨🤘🏼

I hope LHN continue to live as an online streaming source because especially earlier there is so much content about the University of Texas that just will not ever appear on the SEC Network. Also I have a real concern about the production values of the SEC Network because the baseball games are quite frankly atrocious compared to LHN broadcasts.

The SEC Network will now be part of ESPN.

Also, being a part of the SEC will bring much better documentary type videos on HBO, ESPN, etc. Texas' media game is about to skyrocket as well! 🤘😎

This network damaged the Longhorn brand. It diminished the brand's reach, and now FINALLY, the entire nation will get to see the greatness of U.T. once again!

Agree. If you're an out of state alum and UT fan, you got robbed of several games a year thanks to the LHN. I'm jazzed the SEC even more so cuz I'll get all the games now. Be gone LHN.

What is incredibly inaccurate comment. Which other university has its own network that was available nationally to showcase campus events and sports? Also if you ever bothered to actually watch any LHN programming you would know that their production values were far ahead of any other conference network or even ESPN+.

But... They were not offered on many cable platforms and the ones that were, they were charging premium rates at the time. No one wanted to "upgrade" and simply forgot about LHN.. would say both your comments are valid - just from different perspectives. LHN is about to be in the past.. and the future looks amazing!! 🤘😁

For no actual reason at all. It was a scapegoat of irrational fears in a new internet world. The aggies knew this was not going to be some real threat. They were just tired of losing. Which ironically exactly why we left the big 12. We are tired of losing. We just don't have a bs excuse to use.
