Emirate is amazing But highbury is lagend Miss highbury forever....

I'm a 13 year old Liverpool fan so as you can imagine not much makes me cry, but this, this video brought a tear to my eye i never experienced a game at highbury but i can see how much it means to every single arsenal fan who attended or was never lucky enough to attend a game at highbury. Anfield and highbury. just the two most historic stadiums that carry so many memories of league wins fa cup win and many other trophies. Arsenal and highbury you will never walk alone.

Attended games at Highbury all my life til 06 miss it forever it was amazing in the 90s and 00s in for me have amazing memories of getting tube to Highbury and Walking to stadium

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Altho it had some incredible face lift in the 20 years before demolition I mourn the demise of Highbury along with every other old ground. The game as a whole is a million light years from when I attended my first match in 1975. It really is a struggle sometimes to keep some sense of 'passion' for the game.

I actually found this difficult to watch. I'm pretty young though, I can't even imagine what it must be like for 40, 50, 60 year old Arsenal fans to watch. Still miss you Highbury. :-(

This is for my mate George, an Arsenal nut all his life. George used to always go to Highbury with his dad as a kid, and has nothing but fond memories of the stadium. Through the good times and the bad, Highbury was always strong. George is 79 in December, and although the stadium is gone, the spirit lives on through George.

so sad to see such a good stadium being demolished like that, this is coming from a man utd fan, i used to love Highbury, and the camera angle that they used show in the middle of the pitch was awesome, RIP Highbury, sawly missed

The stadium where I watched a football game for the first time on the world is unforgettable for me. Highbury was legend for me. We miss sometimes

This makes me tear up just thinking about it. Now we've experienced the same thing, and the London Stadium isn't even a football ground. I'll miss Highbury and the Bolelyn Ground forever.

It's a terrible shame for you. You've lost the history and you'll never replace that with a concrete and glass monstrosity that looks as soulless as every other new stadium, and that includes ours. I never went to Highbury but I wish to god that I had. Heartbreaking video.

I’m not Arsenal’s fan but it was one of my favourite stadium! :( when I watched on TV as if I was there inside. It was beautiful! Yes , Emirates is nice one but Highbury was something different magic. Always will be in my heart

I'm not connected with Arsenal in any way, but this video was really moving. Emirates was a necessary step for the club, but Highbury will be thoroughly missed.

This was a travesty this stadium should have preserved thought it was a listed building certainly East and west stands nothing compares to Highbury

Went to Highbury for the first time in 86’ with my old man and at 6 years old became a life long Gunner. Thanks Dad So many great memories here it was home I will always have them memories till the day I die. West stand was our seat for 10 years until my dad passed away but I carried on going and always felt him with me. RIP Highbury RIP Dad

My dad took me to my first game back in 1968 and then on felt Highbury was home and enjoyed good times and not so good times but as much as I miss Highbury we have to move forward so maybe goods times are coming .

I am a real Arsenal Fan but I have never been to the Highbury stadium but I have seen the times when they still played the league matches in Highbury and also played the cup matches and the FA community shield I have seen those matches on TV but that's about it but this video of the demolition of Highbury Stadium reminded me what these were then beautiful years with beautiful football from Arsenal I do miss the Highbury stadium 😥😥

So sad to see this magnificent stadium go lived in the council flats opposite have so many childhood memories of the stadium 😊

Am a Liverpool fan so sad watching this about highbury all the great times for the gooners that they shared through the 93 years just smashed down its just wrong they just could of done something with highbury instead of moving please don't do this to are beloved anfield .

Our club died that day

on my visit to the ground after the title was won in 2004, an old geezer outside the ground sitting on the porch near where the players come in with their cars at the East stand showed me his fist and grimaced with the lingering taste of victory. He was probably 80+

went to highbury more time then i had hot dinners...miss the old girl soooooooo much...RIP HIGHBURY!!!!

Highbury was and still is the classiest football stadium in the country and we destroyed our real home to move into this soulless corporate bowl called the Emirates. Highbury had magical moments and history more than Emirates or should I say Ashburton Grove because that was the area were Emirates was built on. Highbury will always forever be in every gooners heart

We were supposed to be able to buy our seats but some idiot said they gave off a dangerous gas if kept indoors , personally I think they thought it was to much hassle!

14 years on and what do we have? A bowl with no soul and a worse side now than we were back then

What a great video. I was there that last day. It brings back a lot of emotional memories. I think everyone left the stadium that day with tears welling up. I still think the board make the right decision. Perhaps one day I will be able to buy a flat at Highbury. Oh, by the way, what is this song called and who sang it.

Have you actually been to Old Trafford before? , its on a industrial estate that is falling apart minute by minute, I would argue that its actually one of the worst

Its a shame Arsenal and West Ham moved into some bowls, we will miss Boleyn Ground and Highbury, they never should have been demolished.

I worked on burger vans I miss it Highbury was good group

there aren't no names like highbury anymore in the modern stadiums there are only names of big billion making companies like emirates or etihad.. it's very sad

I still cannot believe it. It's not like Highbury was a bad stadium with a poor pitch that lacked atmosphere or anything. Everything Arsenal won they won when they called Highbury home. I can't imagine if something like that were to happen to OT or Anfield. If it does, then English football is lost.

At least you've still got the shell of the ground there in some reasonable form.. many of us (I'm a Manchester City fan) return to the sites of our former stomping grounds to find flat earth or retail parks.
