Jet2 757 retirement flight of G-LSAA
Yesterday on the stream we said our final farewell to G-LSAA one of Jet's long serving 757-200 fleet. Whilst the weather wasn't great we were able to capture her spool up those magnificent engines one more time and make a very early rotation off runway 23L at Manchester Airport before beginning her short final flight to St Athan where the butchers of aviation will dismantle her.

We go live at least every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday morning UK time. We also do other live shows for special movements and extra shows if we can fit it in with our schedules - please subscribe to always be notified of the next show.

We always try to accommodate people who are flying in or out - please contact us with as much notice as possible and we may be able to catch you live!

4. Why are you always out so early in the morning?!
We want to catch the best movements at Manchester. Our heavy arrivals such as the Emirates A380, Qatar 777, Etihad 787. Singapore A350, Virgin Atlantic A330, TUI 787, Aer Lingus A330 etc arrive from around 6am so we always try and catch the best movements for you to enjoy!

Information about Manchester Airport:
Situated in the North West of England Manchester Airport is a popular choice for holiday makers and business travelers alike. As plane spotters we get treated to many different airlines and aircraft with the amazing ability to see them up close at many locations including Southside, the runway visitor park, the airport pub and many more. We see it all from the Emirates A380 take off to Ryanair landings (you can decide if they're hard landings!). Tnere are few other airports where you can get up close and see inside the cockpit of Etihad airways or a British Aiways A320 all in the space of one morning. We are the best place to catch live arrivals and departures at Manchester Airport.

Such a sad day for all us avgeeks. G-LSAA has been such a loyal and faithful workhorse, and will be missed. You can count me among the many. The growl of the fabulous RB211's is what I'll miss most

Yeah that spool up is something else on those engines and as you say that frame has been so reliable for Jet2 over it’s many years of service.
I watched G-LSAAs first flight with Jet2 and it's nice to see her last, Goodbye.😥

Just saw it standing in St Athan, engines have been stripped & about to be completely dismantled, always makes me sad when I see these planes being destroyed

I remember seeing G-LSAG like that at Kemble and that made me sad 😢
The 757 with these E4 Rolls-Royce engines was a sports car. 35 years in service this aircraft.
