Farewell Blies valley line, German Railways 212-342 with Silberlings

Three days before passenger traffic was discontinued on the Blies valley line, I traveled to south-eastern Saarland (Germany) on May 28, 1991 to see the last rides. On my day of visit, diesel locomotive DB 212-342 (Deutz 57742, delivered to the German Railways on March 16, 1965 as “V 100 2342”) commuted between Homburg and Reinheim with a Silberling (colloquial name for the n-coaches of German Railways) and a Silberling control car. Enjoy the railway idyll with the flair of bygone days in a beautiful landscape in Bliesdalheim, Reinheim and Breitfurt. A cab ride on the Blies valley line can be seen in a separate video.
Finally, I would like to put a smile on the lips of local politicians and the mayors of rural areas, because they are always very happy about new roads and bypasses and they are delighted every time a railway line is closed and dismantled, so that they can inaugurate a bike path or parking lot. Today, indeed, a bikeway runs along the route, which is part of the Glan-Blies bike path, provided that it is not built over by a car park, roundabout or federal road, as in Blieskastel.

Hallo Railway-Berni, wie kann ich mit Dir in Kontakt treten, da ich ein paar Ausschnitte von der Bliestalbahn benötige?
